Imran finishes shooting last schedule of his upcoming film 'Sargoshiyan'
Actor turned Director/Producer Mr Imran
Khan has recently finished his last schedule of his upcoming film
'Sargoshiyan'. which stars Indraneil Sengupta, Hassan Zaidi, Sara Khan, Aditi
Bhatia, Khalid Siddiqui, Alok Nath, Fareeda Jalal, Tom Alter, Shahbaz Khan and
prominent Kashmiri actors.
Imran Khan made his debut in 1991 with
Rishi Kapoor in the filmInteha Pyar ki and was also seen in strong character
roles in movies like Big Brother, Heroine, Suryavansham, Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi,
Hawa, Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji, Shaheed Bhagat singh, Kismat and many more.
Sargoshiyan exhibits the unperceived and
unexplored part of Kashmir. Imran recently wrapped up shooting of the film and
has successfully captured uncharted places in Doodhpathri, Awantipora ruins,
Mughal Road, Aharbal Falls, Badpathar and many more lesser travelled exotic
locations of Jammu and Kashmir giving the audience a landscape image.
The candor of the movie lies in the
pride and simplicity of Kashmir and
Kashmiri people. The film highlights human relationships along with
Kashmiri Culture adding flavor to it.
Imran says "Considering it's my
first directorial venture shooting at remote beautiful villages of Kashmir
would have been impossible without the help from the J&K Tourism, J&K
government, our Indian Milatry and of course the warm hearted and ever helpful
locals of the beautiful valley! Given the vast locales there was eminent travel
and became a logistical challenge, but I am fortunate to have the wonderful and
supportive star cast who stood by me in - 5* temperatures with a big
smile!"
Sargoshiyan would be released under the
banner of Imran Khan Production's and is slated to release in March 2017.

basic EDM and Rock or the Progressive house metal or deep house techno, The
carnival has left no stones unturned! In addition, the festival also adds a
bollywood twist with an exciting line up of top Bollywood artists. Their unique
5 stage multi genre theme has developed a corner for every kind of music in the
form of – Cosmos,Akva,Terra,Pyro and Aero stage.
With the EVC 2016 lineup already featuring an impressive
lineup from Flo Rida, Arijit
Singh,Farhan Akhtar, Alan Walker to Badshah and more, the multi genre festival
and camping event also features a
whooping number of more than 50+ artists this season to take us away into their

exciting new artist addition –Blasterjaxx. The Dutch DJ Duo has made history

Buuren,Tiesto and many more and this year are ready to turn up the power of the
carnival with their infectious beats and killer drops.

be a promising one.

ARTSCAPE BY KAMALIKA GUHA THAKURTA HELPS CANCER PATIENTS ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF LIFE
Recently in Mumbai, at a cancer care centre, which is the
St. Jude’s Child Care Centre, a session was conducted by the Artscape team.
The session initiated with some Music therapy which also
included Om chanting followed by Light therapy and other mindful meditation
practices. Vaishali Tare, a reiki master and healer conducted the Light therapy
at this session. The idea is to invoke a sense of relief and motivation in the
participants and create an insightful of self-healing in the cancer patients.
The project is initiated by Kamalika Guha Thakurta, founder and artistic
director at Artscape.
The main objective of having these sessions and this
noble initiative is to use art forms as a tool to develop individuality,
communication and social skills. It aims to provide individuals a great quality
of life for people of all ages with a range of needs and challenges. Artscape
aims to encourage performing art forms as an alternative approach to recovery,
healing and psychological rehabilitation of any kind of physical or emotional
trauma.
