T2 Trainspotting: The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack will be released via Polydor Records on January 27th 2017.

The eagerly anticipated soundtrack features new tracks from Young Fathers, High Contrast and Underworld as well as reworkings of two songs from the original soundtrack: Iggy Pop’s “Lust For Life” remixed by The Prodigy and “Slow Slippy”, a new take by Underworld on their iconic “Born Slippy”. Wolf Alice and Fat White Family also appear on the soundtrack alongside classics from Blondie, Frankie Goes To Hollywood and Queen.

T2 Trainspotting is the sequel to the 1996 film Trainspotting. It is directed by Danny Boyle, written by John Hodge and produced by Andrew Macdonald, Danny Boyle, Christian Colson and Bernard Bellew. T2 Trainspotting is based on the novels Porno and Trainspotting by Irvine Welsh and features the original cast of Ewan McGregor, Ewen Bremner, Jonny Lee Miller and Robert Carlyle. It will be released in theaters in the UK on January 27, 2017 and in the US beginning March 17, 2017.

Aditi Rao Hydari is Omung Kumar’s ‘Bhoomi’

Aditi Rao Hydari will play Sanjay Dutt’s daughter in his big ticket comeback 

Putting an end to the suspense and rumours as to who will be playing the leading lady in Sanjay Dutt’s comeback film, director Omung Kumar has announced Aditi Rao Hydari in and as ‘Bhoomi.’ The gorgeous and multi-talented Aditi is currently preparing for her role and will start shooting early next month.'Aditi fits the role like a glove. She is what I want to see in my Bhoomi,' said an excited director Omung Kumar.Critically appreciated for her powerful role in Wazir and Fitoor recently, Aditi is all geared up to play Sanjay Dutt’s daughter in ‘Bhoomi.’ The film is an emotional revenge drama that explores the relationship between a father and daughter. The film will be shot entirely in Uttar Pradesh.Producer Bhushan Kumar says, “We’re extremely delighted to have Aditi on board. She is a multi-faceted actor who will bring Bhoomi alive.”Producer Saandeep Singh added, “As a producer, I am really looking forward to Sanjay Dutt playing a father’s role. Aditi befits the role completely. I am really keen on seeing the brilliance of two talented actors in a never-seen-before pairing come alive on screen.” The film will be made under the banner of Bhushan Kumar led T Series, Sandeep Singh and Omung Kumar's production house Legend Studios and will be in the theatres on August 4th.

INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT THE BREATHTAKING FILM- AVATAR

The Majestic Pandora World created by the brilliance of James Cameron, Avatar is back on Star Movies to let you Relive the Magic. With a powerful story that has a lasting impression, Avatar has swayed audineces  with its realistic and out of the world dimensions which give goose bumps even today. With its return on Star Movies this Republic Day on 26th  January after more than a year, here are a few  incredible facts about Avatar that will have your mind boggling again as you await it returning to your screens ! 

v  The Na’vi an entire race of people with their own look and language was NOT designed by Cameron or his talented team of artists but by his mom. Yes, the design of the Na’vi came from a dream James Cameron’s mother had which she relayed to her son.

v  Every Na'vi costume was built in real life. Making the costumes in real life also gave animators a reference for how feathers would blow in the wind.

v  The voices behind Pandora's beasts were real-life animal sounds. The credit for the same goes to the sound artists. The viper wolf vocalizations came from hyenas and coyotes; much of Pandora's ambient sound came from recordings taken in Costa Rica and Africa.

v  The language versed by Na'vi was influenced by Amharic, Persian and Chinese, among other languages. Paul Frommer who made this language never wanted to make the language easy to master and took it as a challenge.

v  Editing of Avatar happened as the movie was being filmed. Editor John Refoua and Stephen Rivkin looked at all the live-action footage shot on the Volume and edited the various takes together into what they called a performance edit. This was like pre-postproduction process they edited the performances simultaneously shoot was ongoing.
