Raveena shines at IDA charity event with kids

Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon is known for her charity work, so it comes as no surprise when she goes out of her way to support a cause. The popular actress of tinsel town sure know how to do her bit to make a difference in the world. In an encouraging development, Raveena has been a great supporter of IDA India (In Defence of Animals). In order to promote charity organisation. 
Mast mast girl believes that every human being should have compassion within him, especially towards the weak. At a fundraising event for NGO IDA, Raveena said: "I think this is very good cause by IDA to sterilise the stray and rescued animals. It is a community service. We bring those animals who are injured and hurt in accidents for treatments." 
"Regarding this, an awareness is very much needed as I believe compassion is very necessary for every human being." Raveena's children Rasha and Ranbirvardhan, who were made 'cub ambassadors' through an initiative called the Compassionate Kids Club, were also awarded at the event. 
Raveena said: "My children made handmade bracelets and collected Rs 50,000 for the organisation as part of the Compassionate Kids Club (CKC), so they both got felicitated." 
"According to the statistics in most of the criminal cases, the criminals have a history of showing cruelty towards the weaker and the animals. I would say whenever you see some sign of this type of mentality in someone, please alert them. We need to bring awareness that we should protect the weaker section not do any harm to them." 

We must say it is heartening to see her getting involve with a good cause.

As a mark of love and respect, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt will show the video of their song Tamma Tamma Again (from Badrinath Ki Dulhania) to Sanjay Dutt, after showing it to Madhuri Dixit-Nene last night.
The connection? Tamma Tamma is a track that was originally composed by Bappi Lahiri for Thanedaar (1990), a film that featured Sanju and Mads in starring roles.
Says a source close from the production team, “Both Alia and Varun were excited about the idea of meeting Sanju and Madhuri. Varun has grown up watching Sanju on the sets of his dad David Dhawan’s films. Dutt had done a cameo in Rohit Dhawan’s debut film Desi Boyz, while Mads had done the item song Makhna in David’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Alia, too, has a emotional connect with Sanju Baba as her father Mahesh Bhatt has been a mentor of sorts to him.”
Reveals an insider, “They took the song to Madhuri yesterday nighy and she complimented them on their dancing. Tonight, after the day’s wrap of Judwaa 2, Varun and his dulhania will go to Dutt’s home in Bandra to get his blessings.

9’o Clock, a thriller with Maoist backdrop

Producer Gaurav Shankar’s upcoming film 9’o Clock is a suspense thriller showcasing the realities of life. The trailer launch of the film was held in Mumbai in the presence of lead actor Arun Bakshi, producer Gaurav Shankar, director Amrit Raj Thakur, singers Priyanka Singh and Rani Hazarika. 
Actor Arun Bakshi was quoted, “Maoists started to find roots in India since 1967 with a mission to fight against corrupt landlords. However, today the face of Maoist has changed for worse and today’s generation is getting destroyed because of this. I play the character of Naseem in the film who is a Maoist.”
Producer Gaurav Sawant said, “There’s a difference between a Maoist and a terrorist which needs to be understood. Unemployment and indifference from the society are some of the reasons which promote Maoism.” Director Amrit Raj Thakur added, “Maoism is an important backdrop in the film and this disease is spreading in the least developed states of the country.The film follows a team of researchers who visit the most isolated jungle. Their mission is to find bio-diesel in nature. However, a group of Maoist keeps an eye on this group making it an interesting watch for the audience.Made under the banner of Tejas Films Pvt. Ltd, 9’o Clock is produced by G. Shankar and co-produced by Pradeep Tripathi.Dev Vart Singh,  Arun Bakhshi and Raju Thakkar will be seen in the main leads. Amrit Raj Thakur is the director while Dev Vrat Singh is the writer. Bipulendra Haloi is the music composer. Virendra Pratap Singh, Dev Vrat Singh and Ravi Pathak are the lyricists. Avijeet Nandi is the DOP.  9’o Clock will release on 24th February 2017.

Ram Charan to establish a film studio in Hyderabad

While Hyderabad houses Ramoji Film City,  the largest integrated film city in the world standing at 1500 acres, superstar Ram Charan is now looking at establishing anotherfilm studio in the city. Sources close to the star reveal that Ram ,who recently turned producer for his father, Chiranjeevi's 150th film , is also working on establishing a smaller film studio inHyderabad ,on the lines of Mehboob studio in suburban Mumbai.The actor and his team have already zeroed in on a few locations and will take a final call soon ,post which Ram will start the paperwork for the studio.  

Adds the source, "It has always been Ram Charan's dream to create a film studio in Hyderbad , the city he is based in. It will not be a very extravagant one but a smallerstudio on the lines of Mehboob in Bandra,Mumbai - While he remains tight lipped about the details ,he is very excited about this and has already zeroed in on 2 prime locations that are located close to the airport."
