Royal Stag Barrel Select MTV Unplugged season 6 5th episode to be crazier, bigger & music overload with multi-artists

Royal Stag Barrel Select MTV Unplugged season 6 have had some amazing artistes this season. It began on a great note with the musical maestro A.R Rahman, followed with soulful Shreya Ghoshal, then bubbly duo Neeti Mohan- Benny Dayal and the last episode witnessed singer-composer duo

Sachin-Jigar. As its Valentine's week, Royal Stag Barrel Select  MTV Unplugged upcoming episode will be crazier, bigger & music overloaded as it will have all the new age artistes who will make you fall in love, make you groove and also put a smile on your face with some peppy and festive number.

The lineup for this mega episode includes 'Bulleya' (AE DIL HAI MUSHKIL) which will be crooned by singer Amit Mishra. This is the first time he will be seen performing on MTV unplugged. An elated and emotional Amit says, "I am happy and blessed to be part of such a big show MTV Unplugged. I have

been watching this show and this is a multi-artist episode. I feel so elated to be part of this season. The song that I'll be singing is the famous one 'Bulleya' and it's unplugged. Hoping the audiences will like

this version."

When the stage is full of love and romance, gear up for some foot tapping  dance number unplugged by Siddharth Mahadevan and Jasleen Royal as the duo will be crooning 'Nachde De Re Sare' from the movie BAAR BAAR DEKO.  Siddharth Mahadevan said, "I am happy to be singing along with Jasleen Royal. We have sung the song in the film and she has composed beautifully. It's an experience singing this peppy number Unplugged."

While an excited Jasleen Royal added, "I am excited to perform with Siddharth on the number that I have composed 'Nachde De Sare'. Apart from this song I am also singing one solo song 'Preet' from KHOOBSURAT."

And the magic doesn't end here, as Divya Kumar will light up the MTV Unplugged stage next. Divya Kumar added, "I am happy to be part of multi artist episode. My friends are also preforming, while I will be crooning to famous number 'Jee Karda' (BADLAPUR) the unplugged version." After some groovy numbers comes the famous 'Ik Kudi' number beautifully sung by Shahid Mallya. Shahid Mallya averred, "I am so happy to present UDTA PUNJAB's famous song 'Ikk Udi' unplugged and also being in those show is a dream come true moment for me. I am surely going to watch all the episodes."

Last but not the least; Jubin Nautiyal will woo your heart with soulful title track of AE DIL HAI MUSHKIL. Jubin said, "It's an honour to be associated with MTV Unplugged with multi-talented singers my friends, Amit, Divya and many more will be singing, while I will be singing AE DIL HAI MUSHKIL Unplugged. It's an experience to be part of this platform."

SHATIKA – The Undraped ,An International Short starring Milind Gunaji ,poster launched

Y-Star Cine & Television Pvt Ltd launched the poster of its debut short film, Shatika – The Undraped directed by young debutante Sritama Dutta, starring Milind Gunaji, Sushmita Mukherjee, Harry Josh and new comer Swagata Nayek. Also the, popular entertainment publicist, Vedant Mishra has ventured in to production with YSCTPL (Y-Star Cine & Television Pvt Ltd) and  is credited as the Executive Producer of the International Short .

The poster has been launched in the presence of the cast and crew of the short.

Speaking on the launch, Producer Aditya Bharadwaj said, “Shatika is different from other short films that is on hype these days. Shatika has a rustic flavor that portrays a strong social message. Probably, this movie is of its own kind that will spread a new message on HIV awareness”.

The movie certainly does justice in bringing out a whole new meaning on the very awareness of HIV, unlike other shorts or AVs seen so far.

“Shatika balances an emotional quotient with the message rendered through the short. It features a song that breaks the monotony of just visuals and dialogues. The movie depicts the underlying truth of the lower strata of the society and their reaction towards an HIV affected person. No one understands the roots of it but strangely the victim turns untouchable for them”, quoted director Sritama Dutta, who has also penned the script of the short.

The first look of the poster has already began to create buzz on the social media, grabbing the attention of many.

Shatika is a group work of young heads and has the potential to go far with its outcome. The producer wishes to take the short across several national and international short festivals and markets, hoping to make a mark in both the circuits. 

All eyes now lie upon the trailer which will be launched soon as mentioned by the Director and Producer.
