Sony SAB presents Sajjan Re Phir Jhooth Mat Bolo

Big or small, lies are lies! But what happens when you get entangled in a web of lies and start living in a partially superficial world? That is exactly a situation that Jaiveer, our protagonist, has put himself into in Sony SAB’s new show Sajjan Re Phir Jhooth Mat Bolo. The show promises to take you on a jaunt loaded with love, lies and laughter. Premiering on Tuesday, 23rd of May, 2017, every Monday to Friday at 21:00 hours, the show will keep viewers guessing what will happen next as the plot of this hilarious chronicle unfolds. 

The story revolves Jaiveer Chopra played by Hussain Kuwajerwala and his family who are one of the wealthiest families of South Mumbai. The Chopra clan is headed by a single father Paramveer played by Tiku Talsania, who lives with his son Jaiveer and daughter Jenice, played by Urmila Tiwari. 

History sometimes repeats itself, in this case, just like his father, Jaiveer also falls in love with a simpleton woman, Jaya, played by Parvati Vaze, who belongs to a middle class family. In fact, he always has been so impressed by his father’s style of wooing and proposing to his mother that he wants to do the same for his ladylove. Which is, by not revealing his wealth, status and family heritage and getting to know Jaya and make her love him as genuinely and simply as possible. For this, he lies to her about being poor and that he works hard by doing odd jobs each day to make ends meet. As luck would have it, Jaya is impressed by his personality and determination but Jaiveer’s grand plan takes a hit when Jaya tells him how she and her family detest the rich and how her father Lalitrao Lonkhande played by Sharad Ponkshe, believes in an ideology that one should only earn how much they require to survive and the rest shall be spent to help the poor and needy. 

Here unfolds the crux of the show, where his one innocuous lie buries him under a mountain of subsequent lies as he cannot risk telling the truth to Jaya for the fear of losing his love. In order to marry Jaya, Jaiveer devises a plan to create a fake poor family out of The Chopras. And, herewith starts the comical journey of hits and misses and hilarious sticky situations. Now, it is for all to see how successfully does this transformation take place and will the Lokhandeys find out about Jaiveer’s lie? 

Some of the other supporting crucial roles to the plot are played by Rakhi Vijan (as Monica Malpani, family friend, romantically attracted to Paramveer), Monica Murthy (as Priya Walia, Paramveer’s secretary), Gaurav Dubey (as Deepak Tijori, Jaiveer’s best friend) amongst others

सनी देओल ने लांच किया बेटे को !

चौंतीस साल पहले अभिनेता धर्मेंद्र ने विजेयता फिल्म्स की स्थापना कर अपने बेटे सनी देओल को हीरो बनाने के लिए फिल्म बेताब का निर्माण किया था। आज धर्मेंद्र फिर अपने बैनर विजेयता फिल्म्स के अंतर्गत अपने पोते के लिए निर्माता की भूमिका में थे। इसके साथ ही देओल खानदान की तीसरी पीढ़ी यानि अभिनेता सनी देओल के बड़े बेटे करण देओल भी हीरो बन गए। आज करण ने पहली बार रोमांटिक फिल्म पल पल दिल के पास के लिए कैमरा फेस किया। करण की फिल्म का शीर्षक, धर्मेंद्र की १९७३ में रिलीज़ फिल्म ब्लैकमेल के धर्मेंद्र और राखी पर फिल्माए गए गीत 'पल पल दे के पास तुम रहती हो' से प्रेरित है। इस फिल्म का निर्देशन खुद सनी देओल कर रहे हैं। सनी देओल अब तक दो फिल्मों दिल्लगी (१९९९) और घायल वन्स अगेन (२०१६) का निर्देशन कर चुके हैं। पल पल दिल के पास उनकी तीसरी फिल्म होगी। पहले यह खबरें यह आ रही थी कि यशराज बैनर करण देओल को लांच करना चाहता है। लेकिन, सनी देओल को इस बैनर पर पूरा भरोसा नहीं था। यश चोपड़ा, फिल्म आदमी और इंसान में धर्मेन्द्र और फिल्म डर में सनी देओल को गच्चा दे चुके थे। यश चोपड़ा ने अपनी फिल्मों के विलेन फ़िरोज़ खान और शाहरुख़ खान को हीरो (धर्मेन्द्र और सनी देओल) पर तरजीह दी थी। इसलिए खुद सनी देओल चाहते थे कि वह अपने बेटे की लौन्चिंग फिल्म खुद बनाए। पल पल दिल के पास का प्रोडक्शन धर्मेन्द्र के बैनर विजयेता फिल्म्स के साथ जी स्टूडियो कर रहा है। कोई १७ साल पहले जी सिनेमा ने सनी देओल की फिल्म ग़दर एक प्रेम कथा का निर्माण किया था। यह फिल्म हिंदी सिनेमा के इतिहास की बड़ी हिट फिल्म साबित हुई थी। शायद सनी देओल इस प्रकार अपने बेटे को एक बड़ी हिट फिल्म से शुरुआत का मौका देना चाह रहे होंगे। बेटे को डायरेक्ट कर इमोशनल हो गए सनी देओल ने अपने बेटे के साथ तस्वीर खिंचा कर सोशल साइट्स पर डाली, जो देखते ही देखते वायरल हो गई। करण को बधाई का तांता लग गया।रितेश देशमुख ने करण को शुभकामनाये भेजी।

PV Sindhu to play a cameo in her biopic

Sonu Sood is gearing up to make a biopic on the young badminton sensation, Pusaria Venkata Sindhu aka PV Sindhu – India’s first woman to win the silver medal at the Olympics last year. 

The actor-producer is keen on producing a biopic on the athlete titled Sindhu and got his team to research Sindhu's life and put together a script before he met her to discuss the movie. 

Now, it’s learnt that the talented actor wants Sindhu to play a cameo in the film. Sonu informs, “I really want Sindhu to be a part of the film, just may be a special appearance. It is still in the scripting stages; hopefully, I should be soon ready with the final draft. I will try to see where I can incorporate her appearance. This will make the film even more special and that is what my efforts are for.” 

According to sources, the biopic will be shot in a lot of real locations as opposed to sets. “Sindhu, who was born in Hyderabad, started playing badminton at the age of eight after she saw Pullela Gopichand win the 2001 All England Open Badminton Championships. 

While it is extremely challenging to produce a biopic on the 22-year-old athlete, Sonu is excited and will leave no stone unturned to make it inspiring and entertaining. He knows that he will have to be thorough with his research – and he has been doing a lot of it since the past year. Recently, Sonu and Sindhu also met at a studio to discuss the progress of the script.
