DESIGNER ROHIT VERMA SHOWCASED GRAVE YARD COLLECTION AT INDIA LUXURY STYLE WEEK; SHOWSTOPPERS- ABHIMANYU SINGH & SHARAD KELKAR

"For India Luxury Style Week my collection is very different. The mood board is completely black and I am presenting a graveyard so the collection is very Gothic. It's unique with exciting cuts, lots of chains and I've played with lots of fabrics — nearly seven-eight fabrics like velvet, suiting materials, Lycra, jersey, denim and rugged fabrics, together. It's for the man who is experimental and the entire collection is based on the power of a soul even though I have named it 'Graveyard'. This is my second season with India Luxury Style Week and I'm very excited to be a part of this show. And, of course, I love to get so much love from Bengaluru, so I always get excited to be a part of this show. I will give my best shot and I will only expect their love" says Rohit K Verma about his collection at India Luxury Style Week. 

''Designing reflects my personality because I always create clothes according to the season and my mood; whatever comes in my mind I create it and I believe in unique cuts and different silhouettes. As a designer I have never struggled between creativity and wearability for the catwalk. I always keep wearability in my mind. My clothes are very different. I create garments for men who pull off a bold style, who make a statement" says Rohit K Verma,  an artistic contemporary designer whose enthusiasm for fashion design stemmed from the tender age of 12. As a teen, he was fascinated with couture, an ideal that motivated him to design handwoven garments for his mother and sister. There was no looking back since as his unique design aesthetic won him 'Youngest Achiever' In Asian Achievers Awards and 'Rashtriya Shakti Awards'

Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee's 'Despacito' ft. Justin Bieber // Spends Third Week at No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100

"Despacito," featuring Justin Bieber, rules for a third week, while "Shape of You" spends a record 20th week in the top five from its debut. 

Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's "Despacito," featuring Justin Bieber, tops the Billboard Hot 100 chart (dated June 10) for a third week. Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You" becomes the first song to spend its first 20 weeks on the Hot 100 in the top five. 

"Despacito" (released on Universal Music Latino / Raymond Braun / SchoolBoy / Def Jam / UMLE / Republic Records) leads the Streaming Songs chart for a second week, with 65.4 million U.S. streams (up 10 percent) in the week ending May 25, according to Nielsen Music. It also rules the Digital Song Sales chart for a fourth week, with 137,000 downloads sold (up 19 percent) in the week ending May 25; the remix with Bieber, released April 17, accounts for 77 percent of the song's sales (up from 73 percent each of the two previous weeks). 

On Radio Songs, "Despacito" keeps at No. 7 with 88 million in all-format airplay audience (up 21 percent) in the week ending May 28, adding the Hot 100's top Airplay Gainer award for a second week. "Despacito," the first mostly-Spanish language Hot 100 No. 1 in 21 years (its title translates to "slowly" in English), tops the Hot Latin Songs chart for a 17th week.

‘डियर माया’ से मनीषा कोइराला का कमबैक

बॉलीवुड की प्रतिभाशाली अभिनेत्री मनीषा कोईराला एक लंबे गैप के बाद सिल्वर स्क्रीन पर वापसी कर रही हैं। नब्बे के दशक में एक से बढ़कर एक बेहतरीन फिल्मों का अहम हिस्सा रह चुकी मनीषा इसी हफ्ते रिलीज हो रही फिल्म ‘डियर माया’ के जरिये अपने प्रशंसकों के बीच दमदार उपस्थिति दिखाएंगी। अपनी इसी कमबैक फिल्म के प्रमोशन के सिलसिले में मनीषा डायरेक्टर सुनयना भटनागर, वेव सिनेमा के सीईओ राहुल मित्रा, प्रोड्यूसर संदीप लेजेल एवं शोभना यादव और फिल्म के कलाकार श्रेया चौधरी के साथ दिल्ली में मौजूद थीं।

बॉलीवुड में दुबारा वापसी के अनुभवों के बारे में पूछने पर मनीषा ने बताया कि इस वापसी में उन्हें कोई कठिनाई नहीं हुई, हां थोड़ी देर जरूर हुई। मनीषा ने कहा, दरअसल, लंबे अर्से से मैं अच्छी पटकथा का इंतजार कर रही थी। मैंने फैसला किया था कि मैं कुछ नया, अर्थपूर्ण और अलग करूंगी। जब इस फिल्म का प्रस्ताव मुझे मिला, तो लगा जैसे जिस चीज की मुझे प्रतीक्षा थी, वह पूरी हो रही है, क्योंकि इसकी पटकथा अद्भुत है। इसमें मनोरंजन के साथ सार्थक संदेश भी है। हालांकि, इस फिल्म में मैंने जो किरदार निभाया है, वह मेरे लिए बेहद चैलेंजिंग था, लेकिन सच कहूं तो एक कुशल डायरेक्टर कलाकार की हर मुश्किल को आसान कर देता है और सुनयना ने इस फिल्म में मेरे साथ यही किया। यह फिल्म एक अधेड़ उम्र की महिला के अकेलेपन और उम्मीद की कहानी है। वाकई आज मुझे ‘डियर माया’ का हिस्सा होने पर गर्व है। इस मौके पर वेव सिनेमा के सीईओ राहुल मित्रा ने कहा कि ‘डियर माया’ एक बेहतरीन फिल्म है और मुझे यकीन है कि हर कोई इस फिल्म को पसंद करेगा और इसका आनंद लेगा। मुझे इस फिल्म का निर्माण करने पर गर्व महसूस हो रहा है।

 ‘जब वी मेट’, ‘लव आजकल’ एवं ‘रॉकस्टार’ जैसी फिल्मों में बॉलीवुड के नामचीन निर्देशक इम्तियाज अली की सहायक रह चुकी सुनैना भटनागर की स्वतंत्र निर्देशन वाली पहली फिल्म है ‘डियर माया’, जिसमें मनीषा कोईराला लीड रोल में हैं, जबकि इसके अन्य कलाकारों में माहदा इमाम, श्रेया चौधरी, रोहित सराफ, इरावती हर्षे, साहिल श्रॉफ जैसे कलाकार भी अहम भूमिकाओं में हैं। बतौर डायरेक्टर अपनी पहली फिल्म के बारे में सुनैना कहती हैं, ‘डियर माया’ बहुत ही मेहनत से बनाई गई फिल्म है। यह मेरी डेब्य फिल्म है, जो कि शानदार रही है। मैंने कई प्रतिष्ठित लोगों के साथ काम किया है। मुझे खुशी है और इस फिल्म को लेकर मैं बहुत उत्साहित हूं। जहां तक कहानी की बात है, तो यह दो लड़कियों अन्ना और रिया की कहानी है, जिसके पड़ोस में एक औरत है, जो किसी से बात नहीं करती, बस एकांत में रहती है। ऐसे में ये दोनों लड़कियां उस औरत के साथ एक प्रैंक खेलते हैं... मासूमियत भरा, लेकिन उनका यह मजाक सबके जीवन को प्रभावित कर जाता है। डियर माया कहानी है... उम्मीदों की... प्यार की... दोस्ती की...। फिल्म 2 जून को रिलीज हो रही है।

Milind Soman to launch Probir Sengupta's book Unclothed

Author/Writer Probir Sengupta who has been writing for various brands all through his career, has now started writing for himself and penned a book titled 'Unclothed'.  The debut book highlights about a fiction character Onniruddh Ray, a young guy, falls in love many times.  As Onni's story zigzags, he meets three people - a woman, a man and a young lady. All three play their roles in unclothing him. 

Published by Wordit Content Design & Editing Services the book is all set to launch by none other then the model/actor also known as the Ironman of India- Milind Soman. The launch will take place on 31st May, 2016 at Title Waves book store in Bandra and will be also attended by Mrs. Afsana Radheria, the Joint Honorary Secretary of the MSSI (Multiple Sclerosis Society of India). The Chief Guest of the event will be Mr. Hemant Nerurkar. Actor Milind Soman who is launching the book is known to be a member of the Multiple Sclerosis Society of India group. 

Confirming the news, author Probir Sengupta says, " Yes, it is confirmed Milind Soman will be launching the book in the presence of our chief guest Mr. Hemant Nerukar. It is an honour to get associated with such high personalities and we are looking forward for a great evening. I am going to read few expects from the book and will be having a quick interaction with audience."

THE NEW BAWA IN B-TOWN

Often caricatured on celluloid, there’s more to the small but solid Parsi community than quirks and accent. And what we also forget is that quite a few of them have made an invaluable contribution to the Hindi film industry with their artistic vision and compelling talent. 

The new talent to enter the Bollywood industry, from this sweet small community, is Shreyas Porus Pardiwalla Alias Pardi (as known fondly in the industry now). Shreyas made his debut with the film ‘Yaariyaan’, which not only gave him rave reviews but also a chance to excel in the field in which he holds a degree. 

Currently doing a course in method acting from the Jeff Goldberg Studio, Shreyas is next going to be seen in ‘Sweetie Weds NRI’ and by the way what we have heard about his role, it is quite an interesting one with quite few fun shades to it.
