In love with the honesty of the film - ‘RINGAN’ - Vidhi Kasliwal

National award winning film, Ringan's poster was recently launched on social media platforms and it speaks in so many layers. In this poster we can see a farmer and his son standing distraught near a wall, staring into the abyss. While right in the corner of the poster we can see an idol of Lord Vitthala standing with his hands emphatically on his waist. The question that is troubling both father and son, appears as the tag-line in the poster – “Ringan, sutta tute na mauli” – which means, “How will this vicious circle ever break, Oh Lord?” This father-son duo feels trapped and turns to God seeking His help to break away from this almost impossible circle. What we can also see on the poster, is the answer to this daunting question, simply graphitized on the very wall the pair are standing next to – “Baher Janyacha Marg” – which means “The Way Out...”

Can this hopeless farmer make his way out of all his troubles along with his adorable son? How far does the 7-year old boy accompany his father on this difficult journey? And will God help them find their way out of this evil cycle? It's going to be exciting to see all these questions and more answered in the film.

According to writer-director, Makarand Mane, the film depicts that, many-a-time the path to happiness is pursuing us like our shadow, but we still keep ignoring it, trying to find it around, rather than within and hence we enter a never-ending cycle.Presented by Landmarc Films and produced by My Role Motion Pictures, Ringan will be released on June 30 all over Maharashtra.

Bhushan Kumar & Shailendra Singh Unite Bollywood For The World’s Biggest Guestlist Festival

After Shailendra Singh’s surprise announcement on 1st January that he was launching the ‘biggest entertainment-for-good event on the planet’, the World’s Biggest Guestlist Festival on Dec 1 | 2 | 3, 2017 seems to get bigger with each detail released. When it was announced that Hardwell was returning to headline Day 3, Dec 3 of the festival, there were 100,000+ registrations logged to ‘get on Hardwell’s Guestlist’ within the first 48 hours. 

Today, in a special Facebook Live signing ceremony at the T-Series studios, Mr Bushan Kumar announced that T-Series, India’s #1 Music label and movie studio, would join hands with Shailendra Singh’s Guestlist4Good, to curate the opening day of the World’s Biggest Guestlist Festival – called “T-Series4Good”.

Shraddha Kapoor Shoots For Last Schedule Of ‘Haseena Parkar’ In Pune

Shraddha Kapoor, who will be next seen playing the lead role in Apoorva Lakhia’s upcoming film ‘Haseena Parkar’, which is based on the life of dreaded don Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena Parkar, is shooting for the last schedule of the film in Pune.A source attached to the film said, “Shraddha spent Tuesday canning her portions, which include a court sequence at Deccan College and a theatre in the vicinity that were cordoned off for the shoot. The college has been converted into a court for the shoot. When Shraddha was informed that the shoot is happening in Pune, she was excited to travel by road as she has fond memories of the city. As a child, she would often travel to the city by road to visit her late maternal grandparents who lived there.” We also have learned that the film will be wrapped up in the coming couple of days.Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, ‘Haseena Parkar’, which stars Shraddha’s brother Siddhanth Kapoor as Dawood Ibrahim, is being presented by Swiss Entertainment and has been produced by Nahid Khan.

Onir, Mithoon and KK collaborate after a decade for the song ‘Musafir’ from Shab

While most of his films have been appreciated for its heart-touching narrative and brilliant performances by the cast, music has always been an integral part of Onir’s films.After launching the romantic track 'O Saathi' last week, the makers of the relationship drama have unveiled an emotional number 'Musafir' featuring Raveena Tandon and debutante actor Ashish Bisht.Interestingly, the song Musafir brings together Onir and his favourite composer Mithoon and singer KK, a decade after Bas Ek Pal (2006), and the makers are confident that the song will impress the music buffs just like the first song, O Saathi.Onir says, “Musafir is my favourite song from the album, sung by KK. Mithoon’s composition embodies the texture of the film and the lyrics by Amitabh Verma symbolize the essence of the movie." Produced by Sanjay Suri, Onir, Bhavna Talwar and Mohan T. Mulani, Shab is scheduled to release on 30th June, 2017.
