Hrudayantar team promotes the movie at Shiamak Davar's Summer Funk Award's night in Pune

Vikram Phadnis who's eagerly awaiting the release of his debut directorial venture Hrudayantar started the city promotions of the emotional drama by attending Shiamak Davar's Summer Funk Award's night in Pune recently. 

The ace choreographer and dance guru called for a glamorous night at Yeshwantrao Chavan Auditorium, Pune with the much awaited event of summer, Shiamak’s Summer Funk. The gala night was filled with enthralling performances by kids and teens followed by a glorious award ceremony.Vikram was accompanied by the child actors Nitya and Nisha of Hrudayantar and presented awards to the winners of the show. 

Shiamak said, “Pune has great potential of fabulous dancers and the award night there at summer funk was special as Vikram Phadnis along with the two lovely girls Nitya and Nysha were present to promote his debut film -Hrudayantar! The film is very close to me and my entire school I only wish lot of success to the film! The trailer was well received by all present there too!” 

While addressing to the audience at the awards night Vikram Phadnis expressed, “I was really excited to be a part of Summer Funk because for me I have seen summer funk over the years I have known Shiamak for nearly more than 30 years. The summer funk batches are the most amazing - the energy levels anf the enthusiasm is at its peak. I am proud that today when I start the promotions of Hrudayantar, we are in Pune and amongst kids who have really put in their best. It’s a great amalgamation. Shiamak has acted in the film and the Shiamak Davar institute for the performing arts is the integral part of Hrudayantar and it’s just an honour to be here today. The evening was brilliant so I have only one person to thank for that and that is Shiamak Davar!” 

Presented by Young Berry Entertainment, Imtiaz Khatri and Vikram Phadnis Productions in association with Toabh Entertainment, Hrudayantar is an emotional drama featuring popular Marathi actors including Subodh Bhave, Mukta Barve and Sonali Khare.The film releases on 7th July, 2017.

EMI RECORDS INDIA PRESENTS THE YOUNG AND TALENTED RAHUL MISHRA

Ever since Universal Music Group associated with Mohit Suri to launch EMI Records India, the label has relentlessly promoted new and young talent in India. 

Rahul Mishra, the latest artist under the tutelage of EMI records, is a music composer and has composed & sung for many feature films in multiple languages. Hailing from the small town of Allahabad, Rahul’s interest in music began when he first joined piano classes and from there on, he discovered a musical side of himself. 

Rahul is known as a talented music composer and has expanded his repertoire by working on films like the Marathi film Mantalya Unhaat & the recently released Bollywood movie Half Girlfriend. The song ‘Tu Hi Hai’ from the Bollywood movie has been composed & sung by Rahul. The music video of the track Tu Hi Hai had a staggering 2 million views on the day of its release itself. It’s hard to believe that an MBA Graduate with such keen interest and passion for music chose to pursue his dreams than a corporate life. 

Along with other interesting projects, Rahul Mishra is currently working on an upcoming Mohit Suri venture.Talking about his work, leading director Mohit Suri said,”I love working with new composers and singers. I’m so glad Rahul could be a part of Half Girlfriend. His voice has done full justice to the beautifully written song. I think Rahul has a very promising career ahead of him in this industry”

SALMAN KHAN, BMC AND RAHUL KANAL’S I LOVE MUMBAI FOUNDATION TEAM UP TO MAKE MUMBAI OPEN DEFECATION-FREE

You make Mumbai beautiful only when you take concrete steps towards that. And it seems so with the BMC's  Open Defecation-Free Campaign making the vital difference. As part of the said campaign, actor Salman Khan and BMC Chief Ajoy Mehta, powered by Rahul Kanal's I Love Mumbai” Foundation, “Sahib Realty” and “Sach Ishan” handed over  the “Public Utility Toilet” at Madras Pada, Aarey Milk Colony to the residents of Madraspada Village to combat its open defecation problem. Besides Salman Khan, Rahul Kanal of I Love Mumbai Foundation, BMC Commissioner Ajoy H Mehta, Deputy Municipal Commissioner Ramesh Pawar and Assistant Municipal Commissioner Kiran Dighavkar were present at the event. 

Madraspada is small village near Film City in Goregaon East with a population of 3000 people, mostly poor labourers.  Salman Khan, powered by “I Love Mumbai” Foundation and Sach Ishan, took up the initiative of providing 20 toilets with water connection at the location along with the BMC. Now, a 1500 litres storage tank,  and a borewell renovated with new compressor has been installed  with an approximately 700 feet running pipeline.

"Each of us citizens of Mumbai should strive to make it defecation-free. At I Love Mumbai Foundation, we  strive hard to keep our city beautiful. As responsible citizens, we would team up again and again and give our best on whatever we can to our city that has given us everything. Special Thanks to Aaditya Thackeray ji, Salman Khan ji and Ajoy Mehta ji," says Rahul Kanal, Chairman, I Love Mumbai Foundation. 

"It's great but this just the beginning. There are more than 3000 households with 6 to 8 people in each house. There just about 36 toilets between them. So if they have space in their houses the BMC is willing to get the relevant permissions to construct toilets fot them in their houses as well," feels Salman Khan. 

Avers Ajoy H Mehta, BMC Commissioner,"The norms in Mumbai are that every 500 metres where people reside, there should be a toilet. The corporation is making every attempt to do that. However we are also enlisting the help of people and it is very heatening to see that Salman has come forward to tell people to use toilets. The BMC can only contruct them but it is people like him whose words are followed by the masses. Not only has Salman asked people to use toilets but he has paid for them too. I would request people to come forward and help us build more toilets and motivate others to use them as well."

The magical hands behind Nawazuddin Siddiqui's transformation in Mom

When Nawazuddin Siddiqui's bald look for the movie Mom was revealed, the media and fans went ga-ga over it. So stunning and convincing was his artistic makeover, he was almost unrecognizable in pics of his special appearance character from the Sridevi Kapoor-Akshaye Khanna starrer. But not many are aware of the secret magical hands behind this overwhelming transformation. 

So here we go. Nawazuddin's make-up, hair and prosthetics (sculpting, molding and casting techniques to create advanced cosmetic effects) have been done by none other than National Award winner Preetisheel Singh. 

Though the lady has preferred to stay relatively low-profile in the media, Bollywood knows she is no ordinary artisan. Preetisheel excels in everything in the field of make-up — from beauty, character design, tattoos, body painting to high fashion. Quietly, she has also been a pioneer in setting up a prosthetics make-up effects lab in India. 

After bagging the 'National Film Award for Best Make-Up' for Sartaj Singh Pannu's pre-Mughal historical Punjabi epic Nanak Shah Fakir, this whiz of makeovers has worked on various artistes in films such as Bajirao Mastani, Haider, Brothers, Rangoon, Parched, Talwar, Ghayal Once Again, Hawaizaada, Finding Fanny, Housefull 3, Shivaay and the Tamil film 24.
