When Diljit Dosanjh Thanked Kapil Sharma for his Past

Kapil Sharma is known to make people laugh with his witty jokes, but not many know the good deeds he has done and continues to do so. Recently, Diljit Dosanjh and Sonam Bajwa graced the set of Sony Entertainment Television’s The Kapil Sharma Show where Diljit revealed a memory with Kapil Sharma not many know about. 

Diljit Dosanjh mentioned that when he won the Filmfare Award he was stunned and happy to see Kapil standing backstage just to congratulate him. Diljit who was fairly new in Bollywood thought Kapil Sharma was very kind to have taken time out to acknowledge his win. 

A source from the set informed, “Diljit was tab bit emotional while narrating the moment and was happy that Kapil Sharma was there as a friend and as a brother to greet him for his success. They both have struggled to get where they are today and it was truly a proud moment.”

Michael Keaton and his ‘winged’ character cinematic obsession

Oscar winner Michael Keaton has sparked tremendous curiosity and amongst superhero fans when it was announced that he would play the winged villain Vulture in 2017’s most awaited Spiderman ; Homecoming releasing on 7th July. 

Michael Keaton is returning to his superhero roots, this time as a villain, in as Vulture, a Marvel super villain with the most fitting nom de plume of crime and one distinct quality: He’s an every-man. 

Director Jon Watts explains, “My whole approach for this movie is that we’ve seen the penthouse level of the (Marvel) universe,” says director Jon Watts (Cop Car). “We’ve seen what it’s like to be a billionaire inventor and to be a Norse god. We’ve seen the very top of this world. But we’ve never seen what it’s like to be just a regular joe.” 

A 1963 bird like character who was the second villain Spidey faced in comic books, the Vulture is getting a modern makeover with a wicked high-tech wing suit and even a common man day job. But this is not Michael Keaton’s first time playing a character that at its most basic core involves flying or something aviary: He is quite obsessed with such characters! 

Keaton last portrayed an iconic bird-like superhero relieving his glory days in the black comedy "Birdman" which gave him an Oscar nod. Birdman was hailed for its layered themes and meta story, including the portrayal of Keaton as a washed-up former superhero performer. Michael Keaton also has had a long history with the superhero genre. Since his debut as Bruce Wayne in Tim Burton's Batman in 1989, he has been synonymous with his iconic portrayal as the Caped Crusader.

Halsey reaches No. 1 on Billboard Artist 100

GRAMMY® Award-nominated multi-platinum alternative pop maverick Halsey released her second full-length album, hopeless fountain kingdom [Astralwerks].  hopeless fountain kingdom, which Halsey executive produced alongside Benny Blanco, Greg Kurstin, Lido and Ricky Reed, features guests such as Quavo, Lauren Jauregui and Cashmere Cat on June 2nd 2017.

The singer with her album already reaching #1 on Album chart Billboard 200 is now also No 1 on Artist 100 Halsey thanks to her new album “hopeless fountain kingdom.” 

According to Billboard, Halsey is the top musical act in the U.S. for the first time, as the singer vaults 21-1 on the Billboard Artist 100 chart (dated June 24), marking her first week atop the chart.

Halsey’s reign on the chart is due to her album hopeless fountain kingdom, which arrives at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 106,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending June 8, according to Nielsen Music. Halsey previously peaked at No. 4 on the Artist 100 on Sept. 19, 2015 for her first album- Badlands. 

The Top 5 artists In Artist 100 feature Ed Sheeran in the second spot followed by Bruno Mars, Kendrick Lamar, and Justin Bieber. 

According to Billboard, Halsey earned her first ever No. 1 album post its release last week, the album not only marks a first for Halsey butt is also the first woman to achieve No 1 album on the Billboard 200 Chart in 2017. The previous female artist whose album was No 1 was Lady Gaga’s Joanne in November 2016. The album’s single  “Now or Never” recently achieved an RIAA Gold certification. hopeless fountain kingdom unfolds on the road this fall with Halsey’s eight-week headline tour, kicking off September 29th with PartyNextDoor and Charli XCX as support. 

Halsey first stormed the pop culture kingdom in 2015 with her album Badlands, which now has five gold and two platinum singles. ‘Gustakhiyan Maaf Ho’ for Diljit Dosanjh on The Kapil Sharma Show

Recently the cast of Super Singh - Diljit Dosanjh and Sonam Bajwa were seen getting entertained by Kapil Sharma on Sony Entertainment Television’s The Kapil Sharma Show. During their appearance, the audiences on the set were lucky enough to witness Diljit Dosanjh’s dance with a female fan. 

Many female fans wanted to meet and greet the star personally but there was one fan who caught his eye. Diljit being a shy personality was asked by a fan if he could dance with her on the song “Aankhon ki Gustakhiyan” a famous song from the film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. Diljit obliged, called the fan on stage and fulfilled her wish. The fan was evidently ecstatic and was happy that her dream of dancing with Diljit came true. 

A source from the set said informed, “Everyone was stunned when they saw the shy Diljit Dosanjh dancing. He is known for singing and his acting skills, but everyone is now sure how well and confident as a dancer he is.”
