‘Mile Sur Mera Tumhara’ Duo Louiz Banks and Piyush Pandey Join Hands for Paani Ka Teeka’s Anthem

         
          A World Music Day announcement for a ‘Water Secure India’ 
In what is touted to be the biggest music based initiative dedicated for water conservation, music legend Louiz Banks will be orchestrating a musical anthem along with Piyush Pandey, Creative Chief, Ogilvy & Mather to lend support to IdeaHive’s Paani Ka Teeka Project. Years ago, the dream team had come together for the famous anthem “Mile Sur Mera Tumhara”. At the time of going to the press, the team had confirmations from Shankar Mahadevan, Vishal Dadlani, Kunal Ganjawala, Pankaj Udhas to be part of the anthem. While Piyush Pandey will be writing the lyrics of the anthem, Louiz Banks is curating the music and bringing together the music Industry to join hands and send a message to the people of India to start saving every drop, conserve and multiply this precious resource. The anthem will parallelly see a release of a television capsule on the Making of The Anthem, followed by the Paani Ka Teeka fund raising concert, which will bring support to shortlisted projects across villages in India.  Watershed Organisation Trust, WOTR are Knowledge Partners to the Paani Ka Teeka project and will be closely working on the ground impact for the initiative. 
In May 2016, IdeaHive Media Pvt. Ltd launched its first national project “Paani ka Teeka”, a citizen’s movement initiative. The core objective of the project is to mobilize the nation and work towards creating a ‘Water Secure India’.  Over the last few months, Paani Ka Teeka created thematic initiatives, be it during the last Ganpati Festival, urging citizens to avoid throwing Nirmalya or Pooja flowers in our waterbodies, instead recycle them to compost, or the special Holi initiative, where they ran a campaign across Mumbai, Delhi and Pune creating the much needed awareness to play dry holi. Over 60+ celebrities to date, have shared their thoughts and ideas on water conservation with the people of India through the Paani Ka Teeka Social media platform this far.
On the occasion, Mr. Louiz Banks said “I am happy to be part of this mega project. Its about time that as a nation, we unite and multiply this precious resource for Mankind. It gives me utmost pleasure to come together along with my music industry friends and It’s a great moment for me to work with Piyush yet again”

The biggest street dance song "Ding Dang" launched with massive fanfare

Tiger Shroff’s killer dance and action moves, Nidhhi Agerwal’s stunning looks and Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s power packed avatar have already amassed an overwhelming response to the trailer of India's first dance action film, Munna Michael.After the success of the film's first song Main Hoon, which has fast become the party anthem of the season, ‘Ding Dang’ is all set to follow its antecedent’s popularity.With Chandan Cinema as its venue, the launch of the song was a huge festive affair. To create the ambiance and vibe of the song, the ground of the iconic single screen theater was transformed into a carnival-like setting with over a hundred bikers and professional dancers. If that wasn't all, over a thousand "Tigerians" gathered at the event to watch the Gen-X star perform to the song. 
The full on Bollywood track with local flavor , has been composed by Javed -Mohsin, with vocals by Amit Mishra & Antara Mitra and lyrics by Kumaar and is guaranteed to have you grooving.As a tribute to Jackie Shroff, Tiger drew inspiration from his father for his look in the music video of Ding Dang. 
Says director Sabbir Khan , “We styled Tiger in a manner similar to his father back in the 90's when he was the most popular fashion icon. The song is full on bollywood number which invokes a sense of celebration. We wanted to mark its launch in the most eventful way possible and we did. ”

Swara Bhaskar's brave, unabashed and feisty performance of a small-town erotic dancer in her last release, Anaarkali of Aarah got her huge critical acclaim and accolades.The versatile actress has now received an invitation from South Asia Women’s Fund, (a philanthropic organisation committed to empowering women) to attend their convention on July 15, in Kathmandu, Nepal.The talented actress known for taking the road less traveled will attend the convention and talk about women empowerment and its challenges, followed by a special screening of her film, Anaarkali of Aarah.Swara says, “I’m very honoured that SAWF has chosen AOA to be showcased at their festival. The film has a universal appeal. Women everywhere know the experience of being harassed, and abuse of power is a universal theme. The film raises important questions on sexuality as well. The climax of the film is inspiring. It gives a vision of a world where a feminist heroine can triumph.”“I’m humbled to be interacting with so many women from different countries who do on-ground work on women’s issues. They are our real heroes,” she adds.Over hundred other women’s organisations working in different south Asian countries including Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be present at the convention.

Actor Namish Taneja has left his fans in Indonesia impressed. The actor, whose show Swaragini was a huge hit there, says he is enjoying the adulation from Indonesian fans. "My experience in Indonesia has been no less than marvellous. My fans have been showering me with praises and love. All the effort that I have been putting into my shows seems worth it now," he says. 
Ask him his favourite compliments which his fans have given him and he says, "They are so sweet and are constantly complimenting me. Some of the best praises include them calling me the most handsome actor, saying that I have a marvellous smile and very innocent eyes. It feels so nice to get the love of your fans," he says, adding, "This is the best part of Indonesia. The fans are so nice and it's amazing to be loved by them. I wish I get the chance to do more shows here." 
The actor has also been keeping busy with live shows there and says that the reaction which he has got from the audience is amazing. "I have got a wonderful response from the audience. It makes me want to perform more. When you perform live, the fans get to see the real you and not just you in your character," he says. 
The actor was also recently given the best body award and says that he is truly grateful for it. "It feels amazing. I worked very hard to keep fit. I would work out regularly and avoided eating food which would add calories. Of course, that meant avoiding tasty food. But it's worth it," he says. 

Talking about his career and the position in the industry, Namish says he has struggled a lot to achieve this. "My journey till now has been challenging, but I have also learnt so much. No matter the situation, I knew I could do it because I have faith in myself and my acting abilities.  I know that now matter what, I know how to do my job well," he says.
