Film JD set for release on 22nd September

The highly- awaited movie on the inside story of media, JD is now ready for release. Journalist turned Director and Producer Shailendra Pandey took to Twitter and announced the release date for his upcoming movie on September 22, alongside a poster of the movie.

Shailendra wrote, “1st official poster of #JD  #MediaकीBreakingNews is going to release on 22nd Sept, 2017 #JDthefilm #mediaStoryBehindDoors.”

The film portrays the actual situations in the life of a Journalist and the working of the Media. Very little is known in the outside world about the Journalists who bring news every moment from all over the world.

JD is the'Breaking News' from inside the Media.

Journalists who bring out theTruth are helpless in fighting for their own rights.

Is the Media captive in the hand of a few people who wear different masks?

The powerful Establishment scares, allures and finally crushes those journalists who are doing their job honestly. Will JD rise with a steely resolve from this fall?

His pen had the power to shake the seat of power. Will he confront the powers of Media and Politics, or he will shake hands with them?

The answers to these and many other questions will be found in JD, the story of Jai Dwivedi alias JD and his journey from Lucknow to the power center that is Delhi.

The movie stars Lalit Bisht, Vedita Pratap Singh, Govind Namdev, Aman Verma, Rina Charaniya, Amit Pathak, Meenakshi in pivotal roles. Amar Singh is in a special appearance. The film also has surprising appearances of several real-life journalists.

I am blessed to play Kroor Singh : Chandan K Anand

Talented actor Chandan K Anand is getting a lot of creative satisfaction since the time he started playing the evil Kroor Singh in  Nikhil Sinha's show Chandrakanta. Chandan is enjoying portraying the role of Kroor Singh as he finds the role one of the most challenging characters he played. So is the grey streak of the role working for Chandan? "I am a performer and I believe a good actor is capable of portraying all kind of shades. Whatever is on paper a true performer can transform that on screen." Before Chandrakanta Chandan played a romantic character in Bhage Re Man where his character Raghav was loved by the audience too.  

Chandan further adds,"There are nine emotions in acting and the audience always love to watch the emotions of love on screen the most. And when the villain comes in between, the performances becomes more interesting and watchable." Chandan feels he is lucky that he got the role. "The writer of Chandrakanta is Devaki Nandan Khatri and they way he has written it is amazing. The characterizations are so vivid, I am blessed to play Kroor Singh."
