Dia Mirza felicitated with Valerian of Environmental Issues Award

Dia Mirza was recently awarded with the Valerian of Environmental Issues Award by the makers of the film ‘Valerian and The City of a Thousand Planets’. It is a known fact that Dia supports various institutions that spread awareness and take necessary action to help resolve persistent environmental issues. The actress is associated with Narmada Bachao Andolan and Swachh Saathi, Dia is also the brand ambassador for Wildlife Trust of India. 

The actress who will next be seen in Sanjay Dutt’s biopic has been actively involved in a plethora of social causes and has been spotted attending many such events and is doing her bit to save the environment. “I think as citizens of this planet, it is incumbent upon us to become more socially and environmentally aware and I’m just grateful that I have been acknowledged for doing my bit. I hope to continue to do more”, said the beautiful actress.

Paresh Mehta has been in the field of photo-video since 36 years and recently opened a spanking new studio in Mumbai, which was inaugurated by none other than Amitabh Bachchan himself! The thespian graciously acknowledged the efforts of Paresh Mehta through a special video (attached) and with his elegant humility, inaugurated the studio to the delight of Paresh Mehta and his family. Shraddha Kapoor Looks Intense And Grim In The Latest ‘Haseena Parkar’ Poster

Shraddha Kapoor will share screen space with her brother Siddhanth Kapoor for the very first time in Apoorva Lakhia’s upcoming gangland drama ‘Haseena Parkar’, which revolves around dreaded don Dawood Ibrahim and his sister Haseena and we have come across the latest poster of the film, which features Shraddha as the older Haseena, launched by the makers just hours leading up to the long-awaited trailer launch. 
In the latest poster, a heavy-set Shraddha is seen wearing a black traditional Muslim outfit and sitting regally in an ornate chair. The actress, who has mostly played ‘girl next door’ roles in most of her films, looks absolutely intense and grim in the poster of the film and we are quite eager to see how the actress plays this role as she has never played such a character before. The poster also features Shraddha’s dialogue from the film “Aapa yaad reh gaya na… naam yaad rakhne ki zaroorat nahi,” adding drama to the imposing image. 

Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, Haseena Parkar stars Shraddha Kapoor, Siddhanth Kapoor and Ankur Bhatia. Produced by Nahid Khan with Swiss Entertainment and co-produced by Sameer Antulay and Babu Tyagi, the film is set to release on 18th August 2017.
