Sony Entertainment Television’s dance reality show Super Dancer created a lot of roar worldwide with unique performances by the contestants and their Guru’s.

Choreographer Geeta Kapur and the most loved Director Producer, Anurag Basu the three will soon resume their seats for the second season of the dance reality show. 

Excited to return on Super Dancer Season 2 Bollywood Diva Shilpa Shetty Kundra says, "Excited to get back on the judges seat with my old friends and co-judges Anurag Basu and Geeta Kapur .Working with these "wonder" kids is a joy and Super Dancer is one show that I looked forward to as a judge and a viewer. The kids are unbelievably talented, energetic, innocent, come with no inhibitions and that’s the best part about them.I can’t wait to see the journey of the little wonders who will take forward the legacy of the show and be the next ‘Dance Ka Kal’.” 

Choreographer Geeta Kapur said, “I am thrilled to be back as a judge on Super Dancer 2 the dance show that gained immense popularity. Last year, Shilpa Shetty, Anurag dada and I found extremely profound talents from across the country, and this year we hope to take the entertainment level a notch up. We will soon begin our nationwide hunt for dancing sensations whose moves will inspire and invigorate, whose energy will be contagious and whose commitment will move the nation.” 

The show which set a benchmark for dance in its first season will see few gurus being retained from the first season. The auditions for Super Dancer Season 2 will start soon and will span across 15 cities across the nation

Kareena Kapoor's popular 3 Idiot scene inspires tourist spot

Kareena Kapoor Khan is no stranger to setting trends - One of the star's most fondly remembered scenes has now inspired a photo point for tourists. The climax scene from the blockbuster 3 Idiots, which sees Kareena on a scooty dressed as a bride , has now turned into a tourist attraction in Leh, Ladakh.  A scooter has been placed on the shores of the Pangong Tso Lake, where tourists can click a photo resembling the actor’s scene in the film.  Tourists are also offered a costume similar to the one Kareena wears in the film all for the price of 5o rupees. 

The popular tourist spot has been named ‘Kareena Scooty’.

Lipstick Under my burkha opens Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2017

Celebrating the theme of  diversity in cinema, the eigth edition of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2017 today kicked off with the Australian premiere of Alankrita Srivastava's Lipstick Under My Burkha. The festival is aiming to highlight diversity in cinema, by means of the films they show, the short films made, and the inspiring stories and experiences from the festival guests. The festival, dubbed as the largest Indian film festival of the southern hemisphere will show over 60 Bollywood Films, indie films and short films in 20 different languages. These films, from India and the subcontinent, include over 30 Australian premieres.The festival was officially opened in the presence of festival director Mitu Bhowmick by special guests: Konkana Sen Sharma and Alankrita Srivastava who lit the ceremonial lamp.

Star cast of the movie Haseena Parkar- Shraddha Kapoor, Siddhanth Kapoor, Apoorva Lakhia and Ankur Bhatia were seen getting entertained on Sony Entertainment Television’s The Drama Company.Ridhima Pandit was seen setting the stage on fire with her dance moves on the song ‘mehbooba’ with Siddhanth Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor sung a duet song with our very talented Dr. Sanket Bhosale aka baba. From different acts to singing and dancing it was truly an entertaining episode to watch. Source from the set revealed,” Shraddha Kapoor is an extremely talented girl. It was also Siddhanth Kapoor’s first television appearance and he was more than excited to be at The Drama Company. The star cast of Haseena Parkar were enjoying the acts performed by immensely talented artists on the set which made it a memorable night for them.”
