Rajkummar Rao
and Kriti Kharbanda who will share screen space for the first time in Vinod
Bachchan's Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana, under the Soundarya Production banner, is
scheduled to release on 10th November, 2017.
Directed by
Ratna Sinha, Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana has been penned by Kamal Pande. The movie
which has been shot in Lucknow and Allahabad will see this unusual and exciting
fresh pair create fireworks on the screen.
From the
cultural and traditional roots of UP , rises the story of two ordinary middle
class people, Satyendra Mishra and Aarti Shukla, who are soon to be bound in
matrimony but Satyendra is left alone at the altar, as Aarti decides to pursue
her dreams . Five years later, they cross paths and the story takes an
interesting turn when Satyendra, now an IAS official has been assigned a case
of framed PCS officer Aarti.

Sinha says, “Though the movie is titled Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana, the film has a
surprising twist. I’m very lucky and happy that Vinod ji agreed to back the
movie, also giving me the choice of casting my choice of actors.”

Bachchan adds, “When Ratnaji narrated us the story of Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana,
we thought it should be made as it’s a beautiful story. The film caters to the
mass audience and we hope they like it.”
