We hear about breakups more than the successful relationships: Arjun Bijlani

In a time when failed marriages have become so common, actor Arjun Bijlani feels grateful to have such a beautiful family. A father, Arjun feels that his luck is derived from his son and his wife and he is happy to have them in his life. “I think we are living in a time where we hear about breakups more than the successful relationships. So I consider myself lucky. Being in the industry, being popular, these things have never affected my relationship with my family. I love my son and my wife and I consider them my lucky charms. Ayan is very playful and he has a capability to bring happiness all around him,” says Arjun.
True love is very different from lust, adds Arjun. “I think lust is temporary, it is more of a physical attraction. Love is a very spiritual thing. You connect deeply with someone and it is forever. So if you are really in love with someone it will last forever but if you lust someone, then at some point it is going to get over,” he says.
He is considered as the hottest dad on Instagram. Ask him how this makes him feel, and he says, “I don't know about hot, but I think I am the most loving dad. I really love my son and dote on him completely. I think every father is hot in his own way. If people are saying this then the only thing that I can say is, ‘Thank you very much’. I love my son unconditionally and that is what matters.”
The actor, who has been seen in shows such as Left Right Left, Miley Jab Hum Tum, Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi, says that being part of Naagin was the turning point for him. “It changed my career. I think it was overdue. I have been part of the industry since for many years. I am happy that I was a part of such a huge success on television. I also hope that the future projects turn out to be the same. Every show cannot be a super hit but every character can inspire many and that is what I focus on. I never concentrate on if the show is hit or not. I work on my character,” he says.
Talking about his future plans, he says, “I have just signed a new show on Colors and I am committed to that now. This time, I play a very different character. I am also going to take up a lot of events for hosting”
The actor, who was seen in the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa last year, says that his dancing skills have become better after the show. “I have given a lot of dancing performances as well. I have been rehearsing so much. Jhalak was a learning process and I have worked really hard. I put in many hours of practice for the show and I did get a lot better,” he says.
He has looked his best since the time he entered the industry. Arjun says that a regular work out is his secret. “A proper work out and balanced diet is important. You are what you eat. You can have cheat days, but you can't have that often. You have to work out according to your weight and then enjoy. So it is a two-way process,” he says.
The actor adds that fashion is something you need to follow keeping your body type in mind. “You have to exactly know your body, you have to know your own swag and dress accordingly. Just don't try to overdo things, it is not stylish,” he says.

An actor’s life is public and his fans make sure to know everything about him. But Arjun tells us things which no one knows. “I am an open book and my fans know everything about me. But here there are some things that I can tell them. I love Motichur laddoos, that is the one sweet I cannot resist. The second thing is that I watch television shows and films till late at night. The third thing is that sometimes I lie to my trainer about my diet and have a cheat day where I eat a lot of chocolate ice cream,” he says

An actors real identity has to be about his talent : Summet Sanmani

Actor Sumeet Samnani -- better known as Pinchu Kapoor in Siddharth Kumar Tewary's Swastik Productions new show Shankar Jai Kishen 3 In 1 -- is someone who pinches his on-screen brother in law Kettan Singh a lot and has a habit of suspecting everyone around him. Speaking on his role Sumeet says,"It's fun to be associated with the show. Pinchu always eyed his brother in law with curiosity and wanted to know more." Sumeet who has put a lot of weight since his teens confessed that during his teens he never used to drink water. He says," I was very fond of cold drinks and all I used to do is fill my water bottle with cold drinks. My only aim was to eat more, and hence my current state. But luckily I have no health issues so that way I am relieved." When asked about his obesity and whether it's a barrier, Sumeet says,"I don't think size matters. It is  the talent of an artist which matters. An actor's real identity has to be about his talent. She or he has to be talented."

Krish Chauhan, the young Hanuman, unplugged

Krish Chauhan, the young artist who plays the role of young Hanuman in Siddharth Kumar Tewary's (Swastik Productions) Karamphaldata Shani is having the time of his life on the sets. The young talent who is also a dancer, and has already done shows like Sankat Mochan Mahabali Hanuman and Bin Kuch Kahe is managing his studies as well as his shooting schedules. He says, "My friends update me on Whatsapp, my teachers are also very supportive, I manage my studies with their help and support." The actor loves to shoot on the harness and stunts, but the most surprising element is that he loves to play emotional scenes as well. He shares, "When I was doing the emotional scene with Suryadev, everyone on the sets had tears in their eyes."
When asked about his best friend on the set, he says, "Everyone is my best friend, but I have the most fun with Kartikey. He is like my brother."

Krish also shares about his experience working with Swastik Productions, "Siddharth sir is very kind, I have only met him twice, but I have got to learn a lot by playing Hanuman. So I am grateful to Swastik for giving me this opportunity."

Siddarth Kumar Tewary felt I fit the role of Parvati and Mahakaali: Pooja Sharma

Actor Pooja Sharma, who is currently playing the role of Parvati and Maa Kali in the show Mahakali: Anth Hi Aarambh Hai produced by Siddharth Kumar Tewary and Rahul Kumar Tewary, has come a long way. The former Miss India finalist and TV host acted in Pavitra Rishta. But it was her riveting role as Draupadi in the mythological TV show Mahabharat which got her fame.
Talking about how she came on board with Mahakaali, Pooja says, “Any substantial and challenging lead role fascinates me, be it a saas-bahu saga, a mythological show, a comedy or even a crime-thriller. I would say that this author-backed role of Parvati and Mahakaali was preordained for me. Secondly, since it was with the same production house again (Swastik Productions), it was in my comfort zone.  Siddharth Kumar Tewary felt I fit the role and the feedback has been amazing.”
The show is doing exceedingly well and Pooja says she couldn’t be happier with the response. “My initial reaction was a mixed surreal feeling of numbness and ecstasy. I just couldn’t believe it was me, when I saw myself in the show. When a large number of people called up or messaged me to profusely compliment me, I was emotionally overwhelmed. Initially, I was sceptical whether I should take up this complex title role and wondered – why me? But it was producer Siddharth Tewary, who with his awesome vision, instilled total confidence in me and felt I was a perfect choice,” she says.
Of course, getting into the costume every day is time consuming. “It would take nearly four hours for the elaborate make-over and the body-paint process. Now that everyone is much more proficient, it takes around two and a half hours,” she says.
The role is exactly what she was looking for, says Pooja. “Besides being challenging the roles are also ‘creatively satisfying’ for me. It’s basically the journey of how Parvati, who was a normal woman married to the revered Lord Shankar, transforms into Goddess Mahakali. The contrasting attributes of each character offer me a wide spectrum as an actor. While Parvati is super-soft and gentle, as she symbolizes mother nature, Kaali Maa is fiery and aggressive. Plus, there are action scenes – Kalaripayattu (martial arts of Kerala) and sword-fighting scenes, for which I have been trained,” adds Pooja.

The show also comes with a strong message. “It’s about woman empowerment. When I am faced with adverse situations, I approach my husband Lord Shiva (Sourabh Raaj Jain). He advises me that women should also learn to fight their own battles, because every woman has this potent divine ‘maha-shakti’ within her.  Off-screen, I identify with this ideology, that no woman should tolerate injustice,” she says.

Shilpa Shinde has a well wisher in Gauhar Khan

Popular actress Shilpa Shinde has loads of patience which is being witnessed inside the house of Bigg Boss season 12. From day one she has been targeted by Vikas Gupta who is also part of entertainment industry and now she is being targeted by Hina Khan. In yesterday's episode Shilpa was instructed by the Bigg Boss to read out loud a task letter. When Shilpa was reading it out, she had some minor difficulties. She also confessed that her English skills are not great. After Shilpa, Hina Khan also came in the picture and wanted to read it too. All of a sudden she started blaming Shilpa about not being able to read a simple task in Hindi. What followed was an ugly verbal duel on screen which saw Hina accusing Shilpa of being uneducated. One feels, it was too harsh a comment and unnecessary. Actress Gauhar Khan who won the Bigg Boss title earlier, supported Shilpa with her tweet and wrote,"Kya padhna naa aana koi buri baat hai? Agar aapko angrezi nahi aati are u uneducated ?? Hmmmmmmmm 👎 Gauahar, who has always been known for her strong opinions,  supporting Shilpa is a big thing.
