Tiger Zinda Hai : 5 countries, 1 massive action entertainer

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger Zinda Hai has shot in five different countries across the world to capture a gripping, explosive and entertaining story. An espionage drama, the film’s protagonists - Tiger and Zoya - travel to five different countries, fighting against the odds to fulfill their life-threatening mission. A dramatic journey of 2 intelligence agents, the film is huge in scale and the director Ali Abbas Zafar wanted the expanse of the movie to come out through Tiger’s adventures across Austria, Greece, Morocco, Abu Dhabi and India.
Director Ali Abbas Zafar explains, “To meet the scale of the film, we had to travel to four different countries for different reasons. Certain landscapes needed to become a part of the film, so we had to go to Austria to get the snow-covered mountains. We also had to go to Morocco to feature crucial fight sequences of horseback riding. The country’s landscape and topography brings a certain texture to these sequences. It also has horses trained for some fight sequences, as many Hollywood films like Troy, and Mummy Returns. Greece was absolutely picturesque and was
the perfect location to shoot the celebratory anthem ‘Swag Se Karenge Sabka Swagat’.  Abu Dhabi gave us desert terrain. We got great support from the Abu Dhabi government be it locations, production, army and air-force requirement. They helped us create larger than life action drama sequences. We also shot a couple of scenes in North and South block, Delhi. Overall, each location has huge significance and is part of turning points in the film’s script.”

Keeping in mind its aim to deliver the biggest action adventure of 2017 that are at par with international standards, YRF’s Tiger Zinda Hai team engaged with film crews that have handled major Hollywood films in each foreign location. So expect some jaw-dropping fights and thrills in this Salman Khan starrer. Tiger Zinda Hai will hit theatres on December 22.

Arjun Kapoor plays a Haryanvi cop in YRF’s Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar

Known for pushing the envelope with his content cinema, Dibakar Banerjee is presenting Arjun Kapoor in an all new avatar. In the first glimpse of his character from Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, Arjun has a huge look change. He sports a buzz cut typical of police recruits and looks every bit the heart-land policeman in this photo. In the film, he plays a 30-year-old police constable from Haryana.
Arjun has spent extensive amounts of time prepping for this role under the supervision of his Director Dibakar Banerjee. He interacted with police recruits across all ranks in both the Delhi Police and Haryana police and also visited a training academy to witness all that goes into the making of a heartland cop.
"Playing a cop is traditionally considered cool in Hindi films. But in a Dibakar Banerjee film, a cop is presented as realistic and yet, unique as a person. Its that dichotomy of blending yet and still standing out that makes this role all the more exciting. Dibakar is very specific about the look of his characters. We worked on it for a long time before he decided that this is the look he wants. From my moustache, to my hair cut, to the freckles on my face to make my character look like a cop and yet blend with his environment reflects just how Dibakar has imagined him and his world to be. It will be a gritty entertainer and I’m looking forward to the first day of shoot." said Arjun.

Produced by Yash Raj Films, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar co-stars Parineeti Chopra. The film is set to release on August 3, 2018 and marks the hit Ishaqzaade jodi of Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra to re-create magic together on-screen.

Indian Princess shuns Salman Khan's Bigg Boss?

While Bigg Boss 11 housemates go through all their weird machinations, romances, bromances and confrontations, here's another bit of surprising spice that just came in.
Bollywood PR Dale Bhagwagar, who has handled the publicity for a whole 20 controversial contestants who have been on the show earlier, has speculated that a Princess let go of the show this year. -_-
"I have a feeling BB could not stop a Princess from Jaipur from giving a pass to the show this year. #ColdFeet #LastMinute," he tweeted.
The publicist ain't telling more for now and we wonder who this Indian Princess could be. Moreover, why she would have missed a chance to interact with none other than megastar Salman Khan on India's numero uno reality show! :-o

Meanwhile, Bigg Boss is said to be fighting hard to improve its TRP score this year too. When we asked Dale about it, he said, "Bigg Boss could learn a trick or two from Grand Boss Arnab Goswami. While BB showcases flaring emotions with senseless fights by the contestants, Arnab awakens sentiments with fights about ethics." Wow! What an analogy. Think about it.

TV frat get spooky this Halloween

Halloween is around the corner and our favourite telly actors talk about their plans for the festival
Rishikesh Ingley: Halloween parties are fun. We usually go out for clubbing during Halloween, as it's more fun with more people. I like to wear anything that makes me look gross. We love hosting parties at home but I am shooting this time, so will go clubbing after the shoot.
Sara Arfeen Khan: I love Halloween! Most of the Halloweens, I have been in London and we have celebrated like crazy. In India, we do a costume party on Halloween with a horror movie and candles, to set the mood.
Sourabh Raaj Jain:  I have never been to a Halloween party but it seems very interesting. If I attend one of these, I would like to dress up like the Joker, played by Heath Ledger in Dark Knight.
Ssharad Malhotraa: My favourite costume is that of a Dracula. The first ever Halloween party I attended was with Heidi Klum. Her best ever costume was in 2015 when she was literally modified into a cartoon character Jessica Rabbit from Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
Saurabh Pandey: I do not know why Halloween is celebrated. I have never been to a Halloween party before. I know it's big abroad, especially America and Canada. We already have so many festivals in India. Now if we add more, every day will be a festive day. If I am able to understand the significance of Halloween, I might have a party.

Ankit Bathla: I love Halloween parties, it’s the only day in the year where I am not afraid of ghosts. I went to a Halloween party in Jakarta and it was super fun. I always experiment with the costume. I didn’t have much time this time, so I dressed up as a vampire, but this vampire sucked only the evil in the blood!

He’s been really pushing me to grow beyond my boundaries as an artist, Also the fact that the character’ is really stylish also makes a huge difference because visually they are presenting me very well,. He’s a charmer and a fascinating guy, so yes I’m getting all the girls’ attention as well.”

The production is good and everyone is working in sync to make the show better,” he says.

Working with his co-actor Kettan Singh is also great, says Himmanshoo, “It is fantastic because he is really good in comedy and he keeps everyone entertained on the set. He keeps mimicking others and keeps extracting some wonderful voices of different artists. Also, the fact that he is not insecure is why we all gel really well. All the three lead female artists and of course Kettan, we eat lunch and evening snacks together. Even though I have to kick his ass all the time in the show but he definitely doesn’t mind it personally, which is so nice and refreshing. We are collaborating to create new drama, new conflicts and to make sure that the show does well,” he says.
