iPHONE X LAUNCH AT iAZURE WITH JACKIE SHROFF, ABHAY CHOPRA, MEGHNA PURI & ANUJA BHOSLE PART OF PROCEEDS TO AID THE GIRL CHILD CAUSE

Asha Bhosle and her grand-daughter, Zanai Bhosle’s Apple Authorized Reseller Store, iAzure, on Hill Road, Bandra, launched the iPhone X at their store. Besides Anuja Bhosle, actor Jackie Shroff graced the event alongside guests Abhay Chopra, the Director of Ittefaq, Meghna Puri of Whistling Woods International, Ruchika Verma of Nanhi Kali NGO, singer-musician Chintoo Bhosle, Asha Bhosle’s grandson, singer Adnan Hussian and actor Saahil Chadha. Abhay Chopra purchased the first iPhone X from iAzure, which was handed over to him by Jackie Shroff. 

Enthused Anuja Bhosle, “This is a phenomenal moment, the iPhone X launch day, it’s technology way beyond one’s imagination and finally we will get to experience this amazing invention! I really miss Asha Aai on this occasion who is currently in Dubai for a concert with my husband, Anand. Philanthropy has always been the culture of Apple, but also our family the Mangeshkar- Bhosle’s with the Mangeshkar Medical Trust and now the Asha Bhosle Humanitarian Trust, the cause of the girl child is very close to our hearts. At iAzure, we are giving back a part of the proceeds from the store to the girl child, to Nanhi Kali, an NGO whose objective is to provide 10 years of quality education to girl children from economically disadvantaged families. I feel every business should make a contribution towards society and we are taking a small step in that direction.”

Actor Gulshan Grover gives the Mahurat shot for Indo-Polish film 'Nie means Nie'

     

         Veteran director Rajkumar Kohli gives the Mahurat clap for the film 

Glitzy celebrations marked the launch of Indo-Polish film 'Nie Means Nie' as veteran director Raj Kumar Kohli gave the clap for the Mahurat shot in Mumbai today. 

Present at the event were the cast and crew of the film including actors Gulshan Grover, Armaan Kohli, Anna Ador, Director Vikash Verma and Screen play and writer Hitesh Desai 

Among the dignitaries present at the event were Consulate General of Poland Mr. Leszek Brenda, India’s Ambassador to Poland Mr. Ajay Bisaria along with Singer Hariharan - who will be providing the music for the film. 

Actor Gulshan Grover said, “I am happy to be the first Indian actor to be playing the lead in an Indo-Polish film. Our film 'Nie means Nie' is the pioneering effort in bringing the two wonderful film-making countries Polland and India's talent together. What is interesting is Vikash's passion and hard-work has conceived beautiful visuals for the film. It is a coming together of an amazing cast and crew from two countries and I am looking forward to this experience”. 

Director Vikash Verma believes the film will strengthen the relationship between the Indo-Polish cultures. He said, "We are planning to start the shoot of the film with a special song that will feature Gulshan Grover as well. 80% film will be shot in Poland and 20% in Mumbai”. 

Joining Gulshan Grover will be Polish actress Anna Ador who said, “We have given our best to this film and the story in terms of building relations between the two countries. Looking forward to work with the entire cast especially Gulshan Sir”. 

Consulate General of Poland Mr. Leszek Brenda adds, "The most important thing happening is that the whole idea

of making the film has started today

and of course it is the matter between the producers in India and the partners in Poland. I think the Polish partners may find a place in this co-production". 

The film which is an Indo-Polish suspense thriller will be almost entirely shot in Poland with certain portions of the film to be filmed in India. 

India’s Ambassador of Poland Mr. Ajay Bisaria says, “I want to congratulate Vikash and the entire team of G7 Films on the launch of 'Nie Means Nie'. I think this is a path breaking effort. Adjoining the Poland production, a love story with a message also underlines the culture, connection and friendship between India and Poland. I wish them all success for this wonderful, brave and creative venture". 

The trilingual film produced by G7 films and directed by Vikash Verma, which will be in Polish, English and Hindi, is touted to be a spine-chilling murder mystery set against the backdrop of an innocent teenage love story beyond borders and comprises an ensemble cast of actors Gulshan Grover, Armaan Kohli, Anna Ador, Neetu Chandra with Polish actresses Anna Guzik and Sylwia Czech.

Chitrashi Rawat - I loved him in Chak De India not just because it’s my film but in all honestly CDI is one of his best films till date and I am not the only one to think that. One can never forget Coach Kabir Khan’s 70-minute speech. It stills gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. Luckily, I’ve not just seen the film I’ve lived it. The best thing about him is how he makes you feel every time he meets you.You get this incredible warmth and happy feeling which gets imprinted into your memory for a lifetime.I wish him a very happy Birthday. The one film which I love of his is Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi because I think the Suri which he plays in the film is the character which I get inspired from. Coincidently I have used that character's inspiration for my character Vardhan in Badho Bahu who is very innocent and calm. He is a charmer and he ages beautifully! Happy Birthday, Shahrukh Khan!
