Teaser of Nawazuddin Siddique’s Monsoon Shootout will have you completely gripped

The first release date announcement poster of Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s much-awaited film Monsoon Shootout was released yesterday and was well received by all. Now the makers of the film have released a crisp yet gripping teaser of the film. Directed by the award winning director of the short film Bypass, Amit Kumar, Monsoon Shootout stars Nawazuddin Siddique and Vijay Verma in the lead roles. The teaser intercuts between shots of crime and action scenes, giving us the peek into what the film is about. With a gripping line - which says “Ganghor toofani baarish se khatarnak Kya ho sakta hai... Bin mausam barsaat”, the teaser is every bit intense to bring out the thrill element of the film. 

Presented by Moving Pictures and produced by Sikhya Entertainment, Monsoon Shootout will release on 15th December 2017.

Boney Kapoor turns 62 with musical fanfare

One of Bollywood’s most iconic leading ladies, Sridevi is also a loving wife. On Boney Kapoor’s 62nd birthday, the legendary actress flew to Chennai two days earlier, to decorate their residence in the city that served as a party venue and arranged for the producer’s favourite flowers, colours and dishes. Managing all the aspects of the celebration, the gorgeous actress showcased art she gathered from all over the world and had it set up for Boney. 

Informs Boney, “It was a special day thanks to my wife. We brought in the birthday with family on the night of November 10, followed by a lunch in the afternoon. In the evening, a group of around 30 close friends from Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Chennai joined us and we partied till past 3 am.” 

Connoisseurs and aficionados of the film, entertainment and music industry were on the guest list, that included Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi, Gauri Shinde and R Balki, Kamal Haasan, Priyadarshan, AR Rahman with wife Saira, designer Manish Malhotra, Zee Entertainment honcho Punit Goenka, businessman Sanjay Reddy with wife Pinky Reddy, politician Amar Singh and Ravi Udyawar. 

The highlight of the party was a musical gathering that followed the celebration. Old songs were sung by seasoned writer and lyricist, Javed Akhtar and politician, Amar Singh. 

Adds the doting father, “My daughter Khushi’s birthday was on November 5 but unfortunately she was away on a school trip then. So we celebrated both birthdays and doubled our happiness.”

Popular music banner Saregama has ventured into film production through Yoodlee Films under which it will make thought-provoking and engaging content, releasing films every month. They will target the young, global-cinema loving audience by releasing one film each month catering to stories from India written by talented writers and a collaboration of some of the talent. 

The company is already ready with five films, and next month they are releasing their second feature film- 'Brij Mohan Amar Rahe' which will be within a few week of its first release Ajji which has been earning rave reviews across festivals. 

The makers have released the first poster of  Brij Mohan Amar Rahe which is an Indian Hindi-language comedy-crime-drama directed by Nikhil Bhat. The poster shows a circle of life of a man's journey who is convicted of his own murder. The film is scheduled for release on 8th December 2017. 

The story revolves around a man named BrijMohan who fakes his own death to escape his boring life. He gets the money and the girl until the inevitable hand of Karma gets him sentenced to death for his own murder. The film stars Arjun Mathur, Nidhi Singh, Manav Vij and Sheetal Thakur in key roles.

Shilpa Shinde surely has two professions waiting for her once she gets out of the Bigg Boss 11 house. One, of course are her shows, and the other one is radio. In the recent episode of Bigg Boss, Shilpa, along with co contestant Vikas Gupta, hosted a show with actor Vidya Balan. The two were expected to read out questions to the other inmates and Shilpa was sure to give a personal touch to all the questions.  Needless to add, Shilpa answered her question also very well. She stood by her good friend contestant Akash Dadlani and maintained that he is a good human being. Shilpa has always handled herself very well. Unlike other contestants, she does not lose her temper at the drop of a hat and does not react quickly to things said by others. Even during the radio show, she did not take offence to any of the questions and took everything sportingly.
