Actor-Director Shekhar Suman's Poll Talk

Shekhar Suman is known for his versatility as an actor, director and of course perhaps India's most successful talk show host. Soon after he announced his next directorial venture 'Patharbaaz' Shekhar Suman will be seen talking elections. Suman will be on ABP news anchoring one of their most popular election shows 'Poll Khol'.

Speaking on his comeback to political hot talk, Suman said, "I enjoy politics and I think Indians are highly involved in the political process. Movers and Shakers had caused many ripples back then when we got politicians to open up. I believe adding some humor and satire to political debate shows just makes them that much sharper. Looking forward to Poll Khol."

Poll Khol is an iconic show that started in 2004 on Star News, now known as ABP News, during the general elections. It was the first of its kind of political expose in a satirical genre and Shekhar Suman, who had acquired a cult status with his path-breaking and immensely popular show Movers and Shakers, became the unanimous choice to spearhead it. It’s strong and hard-hitting content had made it an instant success and what was originally meant to be a 45-day stint became the longest-running entertainment show on a news channel. The show ran for 5 years without a break.

Many have credited Poll Khol for having impacted the voter’s choice and said to have overturned quite a few political equations. Political watchers claim that there was a time when politicians were scared of being exposed to Poll Khol. Allowing Shekhar, known for his craft, his forthrightness, and fearlessness, to further consolidated his position as the biggest and the most loved personality on Indian television. Shekhar will now have the very important and crucial state elections in Gujarat in focus

Vishal and Shekhar have composed this song that has been sung by Atif Aslam. Irshad Kamil has penned it’s lyrics. Vaibhavi Merchant has choreographed Salman-Katrina’s romance. With a bit of waltz, ethereal palaces and monuments, snow-capped and pristine Austrian locations, this song recreates all that we love about classic Bollywood romantic songs. Dil Diyan Gallan from Tiger Zinda Hai makes you believe in love all over again. YRF’s much-awaited Tiger Zinda Hai is set to release on December 22.

The most anticipated Superhero film of 2018 Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War to release in India a week before it opens in the US on 27th April 2018

With the first official trailer of Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War, the film has set the stage on fire – creating an unprecedented buzz across fans and movie goers.  In just 24 hours, Avengers: Infinity War has become the most viewed trailer of all time with 230 million views!  2018 is going to be a landmark year not just for Hollywood movies in the country but also for the Marvel Cinematic Universe given the three releases in the coming year (Marvel Studios released Thor Ragnarok last month – which went on to become the highest grossing super hero film of 2017 in India). Marvel completes ten years of being a part of The Walt Disney Company – in which its box office has exploded exponentially (1400%!!!). Mukkabaaz song Paintra out on Eros Now!

After launching the teaser poster of Anurag Kashyap’s forthcoming film, Mukkabaaz, the makers of 2018’s first entertainer have unveiled the first song ‘Paintra’ from the movie featuring Jimmy Shergill, Ravi Kissan, Vineet Kumar Singh and Zoya Hussain.

​​Celebrated filmmakers Aanand L Rai and Anurag Kashyap have collaborated for the first time ever with their forthcoming sports drama, Mukkabaaz, presented by Eros International, Colour Yellow Productions and Phantom Films.

Popular music producer, Udyan Sagar, widely known as Nucleya has composed music for the song, Paintra. The Global Indian Music Award-winner has also collaborated with rapper, Divine for the first time ever for a Bollywood film. The song comes at a juncture when the lead protagonist played by Vineet starts prepping for boxing tournament.

The acclaimed musician, who is known for combining EDM along with traditional Indian musical instruments and ambient sounds, has composed music for this track to surprise listeners with his keen sense to blend different genres. Not many know that Nucleya is an ardent fan of Anurag’s films. It is learnt that he and the filmmaker met at the latter’s house and decided to work together.

Anurag said, “Nucleya recorded a song with the rapper and I loved it. Everything we had tried before that hadn’t worked out.”

Nucleya adds, “Anurag was really precise in his brief for the song. It’s a Hindi rap number with bass-heavy elements, which is kind of my signature.”

Creating a huge buzz ahead of its release, the sports drama was screened in the Special Presentations’ section at the Toronto International Film Festival and the Mumbai Film Festival. With artists like Nucleya aboard, the hype around the film has only grown.
