Sameer & Naina’s memorable trip to Mount Abu!

‘Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai’ set in the 90’s era has been winning audiences love all over with its heart-touching romantic tale about the magic of first love. The artistic depiction of nostalgic music and souvenirs rekindles memories of the bygone era. The show which has enthralled audiences with the romantic journey of the carefree hunk Sameer (played by Randeep Rai) and the charming girl next door Naina (played by Ashi Singh) will now offer a sneak peek of the break-ups of the 90s. The entire team of Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai recently visited Mount Abu for shooting its next high point - a school picnic to Mount Abu.
When contacted, Ashi Singh said, “This is our first outdoor shoot and the entire experience has been awesome. During the 90s, people loved to plan outings with friends and family and Mount Abu was one of the most popular and preferred destination for picnics owing to its pleasant weather and scenic landscapes. We visited Mount Abu and shot at multiple locations such as the local market, Toad Rock, Gurushikhar mandir and Nakki lake was my favorite one from the lot owing to its serene beauty. I love Rajasthani culture, the vibrant colors of the dresses worn by the womenfolk, the lip-smacking delicacies - out of which the Kulfi Falooda was the one I loved the most. I can’t wait to visit Mount Abu again. Hope it happens soon.”

In the current track of the show, on the school trip to Mount Abu, Sameer starts to realize that he has feelings for Naina wherein he decides to back out from the bet with his friends. Naina gets to know about Sameer’s wager with his friends and is heartbroken. Will there be trouble in paradise?

Interacting with Amitabh Bachchan was a humbling experience, says Sanjeev Gupta

A meeting with living legend Amitabh Bachchan has left Global Advertisers CEO Sanjeev Gupta a very motivated man. Gupta met Big B at Jalsa recently, as his firm joined hands with the upcoming Jaya and Amitabh Bachchan starrer The Great Leader.
As a token of respect and admiration for the megastar's amazingly glorious journey, Gupta presented him a memento with majestic horses; white galloping stallions.
"I had heard about Mr Amitabh Bachchan being punctual and a thorough gentleman. He sure is both. But more than that, throughout my meeting I got a feeling about how a great personality like him can be so very humble and down-to-earth too," says the business tycoon.
"I was touched by Mr Bachchan's modesty. He is everything a perfect role model is made of. Not only actors, but even corporate head honchos and politicians can learn from his humility," he adds.
Gupta has strong words of praise for the makers of The Great Leader too. "Producer Deepak Sawant (who has been Bachchan's trusted make-up man for years) of Daxana Films has strived hard to make this film with a gritty subject. And director Abhishek Chadha has complimented his efforts with his vision and expertise," he noted.

Global Advertisers is India's leading outdoor media agency and it has been entrusted the job of publicizing the film via outdoor media such as hoardings, kiosks, etc. Apart from Jaya and Amitabh Bachchan, the film with women rights and empowerment as the central theme, co-stars Gulshan Grover and Pakkhi Hegde in lead roles.

I have been celebrating my birthday on the sets since the last 14 years: Hrishikesh Pandey

For the last many years actor Hrishikesh Pandey has been celebrating his birthday on the sets of his shows, and this year is no different. The actor, who turned a year older on 11th December, says that birthdays have never been about big celebrations for him. “Normally I always celebrate mybirthday quietly, not much of a celebration. I generally do a small thing with friends. In  almost 14 years, I celebrated my birthday on sets only,” he says.
And does it bother him that he is turning a year older? “When I was young about 15 years, I lied saying that I am 20 years old. I wanted to grow up faster. But now that I am older, I want to be younger. I think this is a natural reaction,” he says.
Remembering other people’s birthdays can be quite a task and Hrishikesh says that there have been times when he has forgotten his friends’ birthdays. “Yes, I have forgotten my friends and the closest ones’ birthdays at times. But no matter what, they never forget my birthday. I forgot my brother's anniversary and later made an excuse that I called but could not get through due to network issues,” he says.
Ask him what his most memorable birthday gift is, and he says, “The most memorable birthday which I can recollect was the one when my father gifted me a bike. He gave me the one that I always wanted and that moment was overwhelming. Those days one could not just go and buy a bike anytime. Another time was when on my birthday, my family surprised me by coming to my house.”
In fact, his mother is the first one to wish him every year. “She waits till 12 midnight every year and then wishes me. She is always the first one,” he says.
While he is not one to plan ahead, Hrishikesh has decided to travel this year. “I don't have goals, I just go with the flow. I don't plan things because things don't go the way you want. But yes, I am planning to go around the world and travel a lot,” he says, adding, “This year has taught me a lot. It's fine to care and love people around you but the most important thing is to love yourself.

Laksh, Suhani Dhanki, Ashlesha Sawant were spotted on the set wishing him.
