Renowned
Marathi actress, Aditi Deshpande is first time working in a Hindi show, ‘Rishta
Likhenge Hum Naya’ and her role of ‘Kaki Maasa’ in the show has different
shades to its character and quite meaty! On one side, she has undying love and
affection for Ratan (Rohit Suchanti) but in the same breath, she detests Diya
(Tejaswi Prakash) who she feels has been forced upon the family in pretext of
safeguarding Ratan’s life. As the plot thickens, Diya dramatizes a palatwar in
form of convincing everyone in the family of love blossoming between her and
Ratan, which infuriates Kaki Maasa, who now wants to get back to Diya and teach
her a lesson. But things do not go as planned as Kaki Maasa is trapped into her
own setup. To get back at Diya, Kaki Maasa, in a fit of rage, hatches a plan to
kill her. So, she walks into Diya’s room with an axe and attacks the layers of
blankets thinking Diya is under them, sleeping. However, she soon finds out
that Diya is not present in the room but just then Diya is about to enter the
room. To avoid getting caught, Kaki Maasa runs to the bathroom to hide but
unfortunately the door jams and she gets locked out. Now with no other way to
escape, Kaki Maasa decides to break open the door, taking an inspiration from
‘CID’s Daya Darwa Tod’ moment and hits door hard with an axe and bang the door
breaks almost instantly! But breaking the door wasn’t as easy for Aditi
initially. She had to practice breaking several doors before she finally got
this one right! Says Aditi, “Honestly, it was really tough to break that door.
But I thoroughly enjoyed practicing. Initially, I just couldn’t get it right
and it was quite funny. However, the production team encouraged me and asked me
to see some CID videos of Daya breaking the doors and get inspired! It indeed
helped! (laughs). On seeing Daya, I felt a new zest in me and started
practicing much harder and finally broke that door! The most hilarious moment
was when everyone on the sets during the shoot started shouting slogans ‘Daya,
Darwaza Todo’… when I just couldn’t get the shot right. But all’s well that
ends well. We just got the perfect shot we wanted! Jai Ho Daya Ji Ki!”

Irrfan Khan first ever Indian actor to be roped in as the ambassador for Master Card
Actor
Irrfan Khan has already put India on a Global map with the kind of films he has
been doing internationally. Irrfan Khan after delivering some amazing
performances in Hollywood movies like Namesake, Life of Pi, Jurassic World,
Inferno and many others is now all set to explore American brand endorsement.
Irrfan’s dedication towards exploring various characters has given him huge
recognition in the west. Irrfan Khan is now set to be the first ever Indian
actor to be roped in as the ambassador for Master Card.
Master
Card is an American multinational financial service brand and the most reputed
around the world. None of the Bollywood actors has ever been roped in before to
be the face of the brand. Actor Irrfan Khan is the only Indian actor who got
this opportunity owing to his global presence and acceptance by the audience at
large. Recently Irrfan shot for the Master Card commercial in the Pink City of
Rajasthan which will be aired soon.
Over
the years Irrfan has not only managed to strike the perfect balance between
Hollywood and Bollywood but also carved his name for the brand's endorsement
that appeals to the masses.
One
of the sources said, “Master Card is one of the world’s largest and fastest
payment and financial service. Irrfan is delighted to be a part of it, soon
Irrfan will be seen in the promotional campaigns of the brand. It’s the first
time an Indian face will be a part of such a reputed brand like Master Card.
Internationally the brand worldwide is reputed to have the best sports players
and this is a rare case when an actor has been roped in for the brand.”
Salman Khan's Tiger Zinda Hai COPIES Liam Neeson's The Grey
The
latest promo trailer of Tiger Zinda Hai (a sequel to the blockbuster Ek Tha
Tiger) has Salman Khan fighting wolves in snow-clad terrain. It reminds us of
the fantastically shot scenes with wolves in Liam Neeson's Hollywood hit The
Grey. So much so, that some Hollywood fans might term the sequences as copied.
Even Salman's get-up with a woolen cap and leather jacket in some scenes match.
Though of course, on the whole, the films would have completely different
plots. The clips which begin with Salman skiing like James Bond and Van Damme;
being chased by a pack of four wolves. They end with him being attacked head-on
by a wolf, while he tries to defend himself with axes. Though the end of the
Bollywood promo is as vague as the climax of the Hollywood survival-flick, we
are quite sure 'Tiger' Salman will survive, whether Liam Neeson did or didn't
(wink). After all, our superheroes never die in a fight. Do they? "The
scenes seem to have been wonderfully shot and look realistic and convincing.
Even if a little inspiration has been taken from Hollywood films like The Grey
or The Revenant (where Leonardo DiCaprio fights and gets mauled by a bear), I
don't think it should attract controversy," remarks Bollywood's only PR
guru Dale Bhagwagar. Now, we all know that humans have no chance of surviving a
hand-to-hand fight with wolves. So does Dale think Salman would survive?
"Tiger zinda hai, woh kaafi nahin hai kya?" asks the PR expert as he
grins. "Salman's giving great money-making hits to our industry. So if
he's having a desi Tiger franchise like James Bond, Jason Bourne, xXx, Harry
Palmer, Taken or the Mission Impossible series; what's the harm! The more the
merrier," concludes the public relations specialist.
R Madhavan's inspiring speech on entrepreneurship & technology left the audience awestruck
Besides
being a prolific actor, R Madhavan is also known for his motivational speeches
on various occasions. In October this year, the talented actor left the
audience spellbound at The Washington Chapter in Washington DC (USA) with his
admiring speech.
The
talented actor was recently in Los Angeles (USA) to deliver a talk on the
topic, ‘Entrepreneurship changing landscapes of technology – what to expect and
how to prepare for the near future’.
Praising
the actor, Lakshmi Pratury, the host and curator of the event, says, “R
Madhavan spoke about the importance of balancing a journey into the
technological future and a journey within oneself to find out what makes us
happy. He spoke about Indian ingenuity in the space programme and the need to
understand stories of our accomplishments. He spoke about the need to
consolidate the scientific research and advancements under one roof, so that
people can take advantage of each other’s work instead of repeating it. It was
about celebrating Indian innovation and supporting it with financial as well as
policy decisions.”
A
source says, “Despite having a hectic schedule, Madhavan always manages to take
time out for activities that he likes being part of. He prefers travelling to
different places for work, and has delivered motivational speeches in India and
abroad.”
“Though
Madhavan spends quality time with his family and take his dearest ones out for
vacations whenever he is free, he doesn’t really travel much. He often prefers
to travel for work, be it participating in the four-city golf tournament held
in Pune, Delhi, Bengaluru and Hyderabad or visiting The White House to address
a conference on girl education and women empowerment. For Madhavan, it’s his
work that inspires him on an individual level to travel and not just for
leisure.”
