Restro lounge, Kaleido brings on a star studded launch party

Touted to be a party lovers’ paradise, Kaleido brought in its launch party with a grand fanfare and how. The resto-lounge is the newest abode for people who want to extend their nightlife to a hangover morning. With a plethora of fantastic food, drinks, cocktails and wine, Kaleido believes in the dictum ‘Music for the soul, food for the tummy’. The resto-lounge presented a wide array of food and drinks for gourmands and musicophiles present at the party. Among mouth-watering dishes on the menu, pesto chicken florentine, honey pepper lamb chops, lipte kebabs, quattro  formaggio fussili , nasi goreng are Kaleido’s speciality. Cocktails such as Twisted Hobnail , Optical Kiwi Illusion, The Apple Cinnamon Spinzer and  Pimento Sunset are the ones the lounge recommends to its visitors.

Saqib Salem to launch his own cricket coaching center in Delhi

Saqib is launching his own cricket coaching center in Delhi. He is a national level cricket player and always wanted to be a cricketer. But then acting happen. But now he is opening his coaching center. This will be for young kids who wants to take training at the centre and will be free of cost.

​Saqib Says "My dream when I was growing up was to play cricket for the country but destiny had other plans for me . So I thought why not have a facility where one can nurture talent at the grassroots level . So I spoke to my coaches in delhi and hence the academy came into being .I have a team of 5 coaches who will to the day to day running of the academy but I have promised myself that I will get as involved as possible cos cricket is extremely close to my heart

  Like I said to nurture talent at the grass root level and also to provide the best cricketing atmosphere to the underprivileged. Cricket is an expensive sport not everyone can afford it but I want to create an even playing field for all and only want the deserving kids to get their due. We plan to have extensive trials for ages 10 to 19 and choose a batch of 30-40 students who we will train and yes we will not charge them anything.​

Karan Singh Grover honoured as the ‘Champion of Fitness 2017-2018’

Karan Singh Grover is known for his envious muscular physique and cool six-pack abs, which makes him one of the hottest hunks in B-town.

The talented actor’s Instagram handle is dotted with pictures and videos of him pulling off extraordinary style of workouts. Karan’s gym training and workout regime coupled with a strict diet is not for the easily dissuaded.

With a chiseled body and perfect abs that can give young actors a run of their money, Karan was honoured and felicitated as the Champion of Fitness 2017-2018 by the Economic Times Champions of Fitness 2017-2018 in association with Body Power (Expo).

The event also featured a stand-alone session, where the actor spoke about his journey to fitness. Karan also attributed the results he saw in his body to his trainer and dietician, who motivated him to be disciplined.

Sonam Kapoor to fly to Geneva for IWC's 150th Anniversary

Around this time last year Swiss luxury watch manufacturer IWC Schaffhausen announced Sonam Kapoor as their brand ambassador .

India's postergirl for fashion joined the IWC family , after emerging as the undisputed icon for luxury and fashion in India and around the world, making her mark on some of the world's most prestigious platforms .

Sonam kickstarted her partnership with IWC in 2017 as she attended the 27th Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) in Geneva in 2017 alongside other prestigious guests and  IWC brand ambassadors from across the world.

The star now returns to Geneva to join the brand's 150th anniversary celebrations on the 16th January at the Palexpo for a special black tie event.

At the celebratory bash Sonam will be joined by Tunisian actor Hend Sabry,Lebanese celebrity Raya Abirached, Lebanese Australian lawyer Jessica Kahawaty among others.

Sonam's quote:  It is an honour and a privilege to be associated with IWC and be part of their legacy . Nimrat Kaur undergoes obstacle training for The Test Case

Believing in the adage - ‘Content is King’, ALTBalaji not only makes sure that its premium content is backed with brilliant execution, but also encourages the necessary prep required to make the story appear as authentic as possible.

The platform’s highly anticipated web series, The Test Case is a great example of it. Nimrat Kaur who essays the role of Captain Shikha Sharma, trained for months, in order to accomplish a flawless portrayal of her character in the series.

The talented actress has been on a rigorous training spree for roughly a year, which included running, weight-training, consistent drills and a lot of combat training. Also, she had to give up salt and sugar completely. But given the tremendous response to the first episode of the military drama series and the gratifying experience of working for another medium altogether, Nimrat has no regrets.

Says Nimrat, “There was never any room for faltering because I knew physically if I can’t get into a mould that needs me to do justice to what Captain Shikha Sharma can attempt, then mentally I won’t be able to associate with her character. It takes a different kind of discipline and that is something I will cherish forever. It was very important to stay true to the physicality of what the girl needs to be like. It has been a journey of blood, sweat and tears.”

The Test Case is a story of the first woman combat officer, who struggles to carve out her own identity in a male-dominated world.
