Shamita Shetty gets injured working out in the gym

While working out in the gym recently, Shamita Shetty injured herself which resulted in immense pain around her shoulder. The talented actress who was appreciated for her performance in recent web series, Yo Ke Hua Bro, has been advised to take some rest for few days. Shamita, who is known to maintain disciplined and healthy lifestyle, informs, “I’ve pinched a nerve in my hand during workout. There’s shooting pain from my neck to my fingertips and the muscles are also swollen.”The talented actress has been asked to take rest for couple of days. Looks like the pretty actress has been following her doctors instructions for a while now as we didn’t see her at the recent digital awards ceremony where her web series won the best comedy series on digital platform. We can’t wait to click this beauty again in the city. Get well soon!

Pulkit Samrat gets spammed

Being one of the hottest poster boys of new-age cinema, one would imagine that Pulkit Samrat has a huge female fan following. But recent turn of events reveal that the talented actor has attention from the men too. Pulkit who rose to fame with Fukrey, Sanam Re and Fukrey Returns, is no stranger to stardom and its drawbacks. Lately, an obsessed fan badgered the actor with incessant messages on his social media handles. Soon enough, the same fan tried to contact his brother too. As if that was not bad enough, when all his attempts failed to get Pulkit to reply failed, he began sending nude pictures to him. Pulkit says, “Many people send me sweet messages, but this particular man overstepped the line. After he failed to get any response from me, he started spamming my brothers’ inbox with obscene pictures. I immediately blocked him and informed my team, who tried to connect with the cyber-crime cell.”

Dev-D to Manmarziyaan

After their first successful collaboration, Mukkabaaz with Eros International, the creative forces of producer Aanand L Rai and director Anurag Kashyap have come together again to take their association to the next level with Manmarziyaan, scheduled to release on 7th September 2018.

Set in Amritsar, Manmarziyaan is an intense love story coming from the maverick filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, who revolutionized the romantic genre with Dev D (2009). In true Kashyap style, Manmarziyaan promises to blur the quintessential love genre showcasing a love story with complex emotions.

Featuring an interesting combination of talented actors including Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal, Manmarziyaan goes with the theme ‘the heart wants what it wants’.

85-year old, Pushpa Joshi from Lucknow makes her debut with Ajay Devgn in 'Raid'

85-year old Lucknow woman, Pushpa Joshi prepares to take on a new challenge in life; making her feature film acting debut. She will be seen essaying the role of Saurabh Shukla's mother in the film 'Raid'. The ace actor Ajay Devgn, who was shooting with Pushpa Joshi went out of the way to make her comfortable on the set. Infact he was very particular about his shooting schedules with her. He would even make sure that her scenes were given utmost priority and she would not have to wait on the set for her scene. Not just him, the whole cast and crew was very accommodating towards her and indeed took great care of her! Talking about her casting, Director Raj Kumar Gupta says,” Pushpa Joshi was a darling on the set. Everyone wanted to be around her because she is charming,graceful and has a great sense of humour. She is 85- I was really flabbergasted by her professionalism. She remembered her lines, she was always smiling and was a bundle of energy. For me she is also a living example - if you want to do something from heart age is just a number. It was an absolute pleasure working with her and I wish her good health and good luck."  

Truly, talent has no age and surely Pushpa Joshi will be appreciated by the industry fraternity and audiences.
