The Team of Manto makes an impact at the 71st Cannes Film Festival

Harshvardhan Kapoor goes scuba diving for Bhavesh Joshi Superhero

Harshvardhan Kapoor, who is eagerly awaiting the release of his forthcoming vigilante drama, Bhavesh Joshi Superhero, had to do learn scuba diving for his character.

The talented actor took swimming lessons to prepare for several scenes for the movie. Not just that, Harshvardhan also learnt underwater swimming and scuba diving which was more difficult than the regular one.

He informs, “I had to learn the basics of scuba for an underwater sequence in Bhavesh Joshi… It was quite stressful as we didn’t have much time and so I did what I could in the sessions that we had.”

“We also had to shoot the sequences at night time which made it more nerve wracking. Because of my beard, the goggles kept slipping off and water kept entering my nostrils when I was deep underwater. That was scary and dangerous!” he adds.

Harshvardhan, who trained for a week, concludes, “I’d definitely like to explore getting underwater again for pleasure and not work, as it’s supposed to be a beautiful experience.”

Rajkummar Rao takes a well-deserved break

Rajkummar Rao’s latest release, Hansal Mehta’s Omerta has certainly won him huge critical acclaim for his stupendous performance as terrorist Omar Saeed Sheikh.

The versatile actor, who has been living out of his suitcase for the last two years shooting for several projects simultaneously, sometimes stretching his work hours to 20 hours a day, has worked a way to unwind. Doing so, Rajkummar has flown to the USA for a well-deserved break.

The last two years have proved quite successful for the actor, what with most of his films including Trapped, Behen Hogi Teri, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana and Newton have performed well at the box office.

Rajkummar informs, “The last few months have been pretty hectic and I have been running from pillar to post fulfilling my commitments. This break has come at a perfect time for me. I’m quite excited.”
