MTV’s Date to Remember sees new love stories shaping up

MTV’s popular show ‘Date to Remember’ is the witness to new love stories and pairs being made between the contestants. The last episode was high on aggression and intensity. Whereas this week’s episode showcases the contestants forming new pairs and getting closer. 

The major attraction of the episode was Savina Savi. Rubdeet Singh, Amaan Khan and Bharat Jain were fighting over Savina Savi. Manu Punjabi’s favorite contestant Amaan Khan went on a date with Savina Savi. According to contestant Neel Mishra, Savina’s alleged feelings towards Amaan Khan was the primary reason of friction between Rubdeet and herself. 

The current episode also marks the first couple of the show i.e. Bhuvan Vikram Singh and Swati Verma. The fun task this week was named as ‘ANDE KA FANDA’. This task involved throwing raw eggs and lead to a lot of hilarious moments in the show. The highest grossers of the task were Aqib Shabir, Pratibha Phogat & Afreen Rahat. The lowest were Rahul Yadav, Ipshita Bhattacharya & Anshul Sharma. Whereas the second lowest were Kapil Matlani, Anny Ranabhat, Lovely Peswani & Upasana Gill. The winners of the task will be announced in the next episode. 

Producer of the show Santosh Gupta, Managing Director, Pinnacle Entertainment said “Date to Remember as a show will see some relationships being formed and tested on various fronts. While the tasks have a fun ele-ment to them, they basically are tests of a relationship.” Co-producer Sarabjeet Anand of Promon.in said; “The show is a test of love, and true love has to face obstacles. The obstacles coming in the form of past lovers is what the show is about.” Captain of the show Manu Punjabi said, “Time only would be able to tell how the new relationships shape up.”

Varun Dhawan injures his arm on the sets of Abhishek Varman's Kalank

Varun Dhawan who is currently shooting for Abhishek Varman's Kalank injured his arm while shooting for an action sequence choreographed by Shyam Kaushal. 

According to a source, " The scene was an intense brawl sequence where Varun had to lift and throw a door at a co-actor. The lift was ill-timed, and he ended up injuring his arm badly. The team rushed to his aid and he was given immediate medical attention on set." 

Varun Dhawan won't be taking a break as the team is planning to wrap up the schedule before the monsoon. The actor was on set later in the day to kick off the next song sequence for the film. 

Kalank has a stellar ensemble cast which also includes Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt and Kunal Khemu. This film directed by Abhishek Varman and produced by Fox Star Studios, Dharma Productions, and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment is slated to release on 19th April 2019.

Myrra Bakshi, who launched her own clothing brand, fashion app “MYRRA” showcased her spring summer collection at nVU store fashion brand,  at Phoenix Market city Kurla, Mumbai where Ex Bigg Boss contestant Pooja Misrra walked the ramp as the showstopper. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom recreated at Oberoi Mall

Life size sculpture of Jurassic World’s most loved dinosaur, “Blue” exhibited at Oberoi Mall

Oberoi Mall, one of the trendiest shopping destinations in Mumbai unveiled the life size sculpture of Jurassic World’s Velociraptor dinosaur, popularly known as “Blue” for the very first time in India. The mall turned into an attraction where hordes of people from different age groups gathered to take a glimpse and selfies with Blue. The life size sculpture of the most famous dinosaur, Blue was flown down from Universal Studios to India to give a peek into the upcoming movie, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom which releases in India on 7th June in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. 

In addition to the life size sculpture, there were lots of fun filled activities such as the Fossil excavation zone and VR zone along with exclusive Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom prizes and giveaways. Kids also got an opportunity to build a 90,000-piece Lego dinosaur from scratch. Jurassic World fans could also buy their exclusive merchandise and win exciting gifts.

In our very own neighborhood Pakistan, Eid-ul-Fitr preparations are on full swing. Along with it, the Pakistani audience is looking forward to the movies which are recently on the festive occasion of Eid. One such highly anticipated movie which is releasing in Pakistan on Eid-ul-Fitr occasion is Na Band Na Baraati which features a calculated mix of young blood and some of the most veteran actors of Pakistan.

The multi starrer features Mikaal Zulfiqar, Ali Kazmi, new comer Shayan Khan, Qavi Khan, Atiqa Odho, Azra Mohyeddin, Nayab Khan, Mahmood Akhtar, Komal Farooqui, and others.

There is a lot of positive buzz going on in Pakistani film industry regarding the film and even here in India, people have watched the movie teaser and songs and have nothing but positive things to say about the movie. Although the Indian audience has also liked the movie teaser and songs but what caught our attention was that the newcomer Shayan Khan has an uncanny resemblance to our very own B-Town superstar Ranbir Kapoor.

Word on the street is that even some Bollywood directors and producers have also noticed this young lad from Pakistan and there are whispers that they might feature him in one of their upcoming movies.
