A WOUNDED HEART FINDS THE ELIXIR OF LOVE IN SONY ENTERTAINMENT TELEVISION’S ‘DIL HI TOH HAI’

Glamourous, flamboyant, high on emotions and an engaging potboiler are a few words that eloquently describe Sony Entertainment Television’s latest offering DIL HI TOH HAI. Produced by BALAJI TELEFILMS LTD.the show will see television heartthrob Karan Kundra essaying the character of Rithwik Noon, and newcomer Yogita Bihani as Dr. Palak Sharma. When the wounded heart of Rithwik finds true love in Palak, he fights against all odds and breaks all boundaries giving rise to an epic love saga.

Set against the bustling backdrop of Delhi, the show highlights the renowned Noon family that not just invokes power but is known for their legacy. However, Ritwik Noon, the most eligible and sought after bachelor from the family, is a Casanova. According to him, women are attracted to wealth and not the heart. On the other hand, Dr. Palak Sharma defies every perception that Rithwik has about women. She is a hardworking, self-motivated, career oriented woman who believes in herself.

What happens when these strikingly opposite individuals’ cross paths? Will Palak be able to heal the wound that Rithwik has been nurturing in his heart for years? Will Rithwik be able to stand the test of time for Palak?

Salman Khan makes his Father Salim Khan proud

Salman Khan, the Dumdaar host of Sony Entertainment Television’s game show Dus Ka Dum thouroghly enjoys himself with the contestants. The upcoming episode, a Father’s Day Special Episode, will see a rather blushing Salman and a proud Salim Khan. A little surprise planned by the makers for Salman turned into a sweet gesture making Salman grin from ear to ear!  

While Salman Khan was giving a take for the Father’s Day special episode, he got a surprise from someone very close to his heart. It was none other than his father Salim Khan who spoke like a proud father. A video message from Salim Khan was played on the special occasion where he spoke about how happy he is to be Salman’s father. He couldn’t stop talking about how his son has shaped up as a human being and a face in the Bollywood industry as well the country. He also revealed that there were times when he did not speak to Salman for six months but there were times when he used to shower all his love on him. But, it all faded away with time and today, the father-son duo share the best bond anyone could ever have. He has climbed the ladder of success and made everyone proud! 

A source from the set reveals, “The video really made Salman emotional and teary eyed. He thanked everyone present for collating this surprise for him on the occasion of Father’s Day. He is known to be very strong person emotionally but, this sweet message from his Father really made him smile.”

Antman and the Wasp actress Evangeline Lilly calls Michelle Pfeiffer the Most Beautiful Woman on Earth!

After the success of Avengers Infinity War, Marvel Studios is gearing up for the much awaited superhero sequel and build up to Avengers 4- Antman And The Wasp!

Along with Paul Rudd as Antman, this time we will also see actress Evangeline Lilly kick some serious ass and suit up as the Wasp, in the film releasing on 13th July!

Also whats exciting, renowned actress Michelle Pfeiffer will also be seen in a super secret role, much to the excitement of Evangeline Lilly!

When asked on her reaction on finding out about Michelle Pfeiffer, she said, "When we first started doing the first “Ant-Man” film, they referenced Janet van Dyne a lot. I told Marvel four years ago if they ever bring a Janet van Dyne into one of these films, please make it Michelle Pfeiffer. I really wanted Michelle Pfeiffer to play my character’s mom. Not only is she the most beautiful woman to have ever walked planet Earth and a great actor, she was also Cat Woman, and that was the only superhero that when I was in my teens I would lay awake at night and fantasize about. She was so cool.  When the film was getting going, they broke the news to me that Michelle was in fact going to play Hope’s mother. It had nothing to do with my request I’m sure, but they realized one of my dreams by casting her."

Saif Ali Khan's London soirée!

Saif Ali Khan is one of the most popular Indian stars overseas and the actor today appeared as a guest on UK's popular morning show, ITV's Lorraine .Other celebrities to have been part of the show include  Tom Hanks, Jennifer Lawrence ,Meryl Streep, Idris Elba, One Direction ,Kate Winslet ,Sir Tom Jones,Priscilla Presley ,Russel Brand, Kelly Clarkson ,Robbie Williams,Reese Witherspoon and Gerard Butler, amongst others.

Saif even went on to become the first Indian actor to promote his streaming series Sacred Games, Netflix's first Original out of India, at the prestigious Claridges Hotel in London; an exclusive venue where only a few Hollywood films have been promoted so far.

Tannishtha Chatterjee’s directorial debut to star Nawazuddin Siddiqui

Acclaimed actor Tannishtha Chatterjee will soon be making her directorial debut starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Produced by Eros International, Rising Star Entertainment, Pankaj Razdan and Ravi Walia, the film (yet untitled) will go on floor this year. 

Speaking on the association, Nawazuddin said, “Tannishtha and I have known each other for a long time. We have worked in a number of films as Co actors over the years. During all these films we have shared many exchanges about our favourite films stories et cetera. We share a wonderful creative rapport. So, it is only natural that we collaborate further. When we were shooting for Lion, Tannishtha told me a story which she had experienced herself. It really intrigued me, and I thought we should make a film of it. The idea started from there. We kept meeting and talking about it. And now here we are actually ready to execute that idea. Filmein aisi hi to banti hai?” 

Director Tannishtha Chatterjee adds, “Nawaz and I share the most vibrant creative discussions. Over the years we have discussed our favourite films, music, stories. We have travelled to many festivals together. Our national award also came together. Through so many years of creative sharing we thought it is almost an organic culmination that we now tell a story which is ours - as in the kind of films we like to watch. During the shooting of Lion, I told Nawaz about a fantastic English book that I always wanted to adapt. And we discussed that for a long time. Then I experienced a very strange incident in one of my travels. I came back, and I told him about it. He was really intrigued, and we decided - yes that is the story to make. We will probably adapt that book some other time.

Ravi above everything else has always been a friend, so it was a natural choice to make my debut film with him. Pankaj connected to the story instantly and came on board with immense positive energy.

Ridhima is one of the most diligent and talented young film producers in our country I think. We have been discussing some ideas over last few months and then this is the one that was meant to happen.”
