ENZY School of Music and Technology Admissions Opens

ENZY School of Music & Technology is the latest venture under the century old TribhovandasBhimjiZaveri Group. The philosophy of the institute is simple; dream, work and deliver.

Courses are offered in Music Production & Sound Engineering, vocal training, guitar classes, keyboard classes and tabla classes. The institute has a unique approach to teaching where faculty teach and train students in a real life recording studio environment. This concept of training has been specially developed to help students better understand and internalise each subject through hands on experience. The courses are curated with the help of award winning faculty members and industry professionals. The courses provide fun, new and rich musical experiences starting with the basics of learning for beginners, to intermediate to advance courses with masterclasses in various subjects.

The best way to experience what ENZY School of Music & Technology has to offer is guided tour session with their faculty and staff. Tours are available from Monday to Friday between 11 am and 4 pm.

Vocal and instrument classes have commenced. The first batch in Music Production and Sound Engineering starts on 20th July 2018 (twice a week). There is an early bird discount for students in the Music Production and Sound Engineering program and a partial scholarship will be provided to one student from each batch.

Harshvardhan Rane builds his dream tree house!

Harshvardhan Rane who is eagerly anticipating the release of his forthcoming war drama, PALTAN, loves nature and is often spotted in the lap of it whenever he is not busy shooting.

The talented actor, who is known for his carpentry skills, is building his own tree house near Vasai. It’s his getaway spot to reconnect with nature and spend a few moments away from the busy city life.

Since he often goes there for trekking, he thought of building his own dream castle all by himself.

Harshvardhan says, "Being close to nature and exploring it every time gives me a sense of freedom and also a new perspective towards my work. I've always nurtured the dream of building my own tree house ever since I was a kid. Once I had been to my friend's place on the outskirts of Mumbai, I realized my dream over there. I’ve started building this tree house with the help of a few local friends a few weeks ago and the entire process of creating has given me huge satisfaction as it's my creation. I think it’ll be ready in the next couple of days"

Contestant Nitin Kumar leaves Indian Idol judges ROFL

India’s singing reality show Indian idol 10 is rocking on small screen with its theme of  #MausamMusicKa. While the music whizzes turned judges Neha Kakkar, Anu Malik and Vishal Dadlani been having a tough time judging the talented contestants. During the Theater round, the judges were seen rolling on the floor laughing and the reason for this incident was contestant Nitin Kumar! 

Nitin Kumar narrated a story about him which left everyone in splits. Nitin who basically hails from Himachal Pradesh was travelling for the first time in to Mumbai when he had butterflies in stomach, which he wanted to relieve himself of very badly. Since he was very new to flight etiquettes and didn’t know the exact English words for toilet, he couldn’t explain the same to the flight attendant and ended up sitting helplessly. Nitin shared the incident in his video testimonial and also went ahead sharing the same in front of the judges. Apparently there was an outburst of laughter initially but later when Neha thought that it’s important that Nitin needs to learn some basic words in English. Being a very good teacher that she is, she taught him the words like ‘loo’ and ‘washroom’. Neha also complimented him saying that his language of music is very strong and perfect if not his English be. The judges were so impressed by his performance that they demanded a once more for his song. 

A source from the set revealed, ‘‘Nitin is a very innocent but a talented guy. He tickled everyone’s funny bone with his cute story but Neha realized that it was very important that he should know a few English words which might help him in his basic communication. The judges not only groom the contestants in their music but also ensure that they turn out to be better individuals while dealing with situations in the real world. Nitin was very thankful to Neha for the same.”

Pooja Hegde sets new fitness goals for Housefull 4

Pooja Hegde is certainly among those who believe in waking up early at the crack of dawn to lace up her running shoes and breaking into a sweat. 

Riding high on the success of her last release, Allu Arjun’s Duvvada Jagannadham (DJ), Pooja is touted as one of the most successful female stars not just in Bollywood but South industry as well. 

The talented actress, who is currently shooting for four big projects simultaneously, has opted for a new exercise regime for her next biggie, Housefull 4. It’s learnt that Pooja who is working round the clock fulfilling work commitments from one set to the other barely has time to sleep, forget about working out. 

A source says, “Pooja is one of the busiest female stars of the South film industry, working on big banner multiple projects. In spite of that, fitness always remains her priority and she has chalked out a new fitness routine by waking up at 4 am to break a sweat for her next, Housefull 4.” 

“Pooja hits the gym quite early unlike other female stars and post workout she starts shooting for her films from 8 am to 10 pm, sometimes even stretching for more,” the source adds. 

“It’s a mix of calisthenics and Pilates which has really got me good results. Since the last couple of weeks, I had to travel more for shoots at different locations. Fitness has always been my priority and I’ve chalked out a new fitness routine by waking up at 4 am and working out to stay in shape for Housefull 4. My diet is basic home food, I don’t believe in dieting. Just stay off the junk,” Pooja informs.

Hariharan and Sons Release Their First-Ever Single Together – Afsaane

The renowned Bollywood playback and Ghazal singer Hariharan and his sons Karan and Akshay Hariharan have come together to unveil their first ever single – Afsaane. Afsaane is a romantic Ghazal sung and composed by Hariharan, music produced by Akshay Hariharan and its lyrics have been penned by Ameeta Parasuram. The music video features Hariharan’s son Karan Hariharan and Bollywood actress Sandeepa Dhar with A. Hariharan. The video is now available on Times Music YouTube channel. 

Afsaane is a romantic Ghazal which showcases the journey of love – Falling in love, cherishing good moments, going through different phases of agony, ecstasy, commitment and more. The song is originally derived from a poem which had followed the tradition of Urdu Ghazal poet Dagh Dehalvi. 

On asking about the song, Hariharan said, “Afsaane is one of the most beautiful Ghazals I have sung till date. The lyrics are so meaningful and have been beautifully written by Ameeta Parasuram.  Also, the song is very special to me because this is the first time I’m closely working with my sons. 

On this, Karan said, “My first cameo appearance was in a music video at the age of 4. This is the second time that I’ve been given a chance to feature in a music video again. Afsaane has been beautifully composed and sung by my father Hariharan and my brother Akshay has done the music production. The three of us together have done many music shows in the past, but this the first time that we three have collaborated in such a manner. Hope people will love our musical combination”! 

Karan Hariharan is a budding actor in the Film Industry. He has graduated from the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute Los Angeles. He is also well versed in martial arts and gymnastics. He made his Bollywood debut as a lead actor in the film ‘Missing on a Weekend’ (2016) alongside Pavan Malhotra. He made his first cameo appearance with his father for the popular track ‘Halka Nasha’ at the age of 4.

Akshay Hariharan is the elder son of renowned singer A. Hariharan.  He is a music director in the Indian Film industry and has composed and produced songs for films such as Kokanastha and Black Home. Currently, he is working on an Indo-polish movie called 'Nie means Nie' directed by Vikash Verma under the banner of g7 films which is slated for release in 2019. In addition, he has produced 3 songs in the Ghazal album 'Hazir 2' featuring Zakhir Hussain and Hariharan. Finally, he has produced the National Game anthem which was held in Kerala in 2015. The anthem was written by Javed Akhtar also featured artists such as Hariharan, Yesudas, Shreya Ghoshal, Benny Dayal, Salim Merchant and Broda V. 

Hariharan is a renowned playback singer and composer who has given a plethora of chart-topping hits for decades. He is an established Ghazal singer and one of the pioneers of Indian Fusion Music. He was honored with the Padma Shri by the Government of India in the year 2004.  He has been accorded with an uncountable number of awards. Some of them include – National Film Awards (1998,2009, Kerela  State Film Awards (2011),  Swaralaya-Kairali-Yesudas Award (2004), Filmfare  Awards  South ( 2011), Asianet Film Awards ( 2011 and 2012) and many more.
