Shweta Tripathi helps Amyra Dastur with the wedding look for The Trip 2

Shweta Tripathi and Amyra Dastur look like they are having a ball of a time with Mallika Dua and Sapna Pabbi on the sets of The Trip 2. The girls have been uploading some hilarious, adorable and colourful social media updates from Pondicherry where they have been currently shooting. Amyra who has recently joined the cast has been posting about her diving lessons as well.

Amyra Dastur who was roped in for season 2 of the much-loved web series has been gearing up for it since before they began shooting. She mentioned that her character is that of a quirky and loveable girl who also happens to be Nazia’s (Mallika Dua) younger cousin and we cannot wait to see how their bond looks on screen. But as her character enters at a grand Indian wedding, Amyra’s character Ira has had to play the part by dressing up, wearing a heavy lehenga and putting henna on her hands for the role. Shweta Tripathi who recently got married in Goa to the love of her life, Chaitanya aka Slow Cheeta, had a few tips for the mehendi artists and make up artists during the shoot. She asked the artists to put in little images and clues about Amyra’s adorably quirky character and added a few cute additions to the henna. While discussing the mehendi ideas she helped Amyra eat and drink since the starlet was unable to use her own hands. Shweta also gave her tips and tricks on how to make the mehendi last long as she had used those tricks herself less than a month ago.

First of all, it is adorable how involved all these girls are in the show, secondly, we are loving this dosti between them and cannot wait to see the show now.

It sure does look like one hell of a trip!

Raftaar raps for Star Bharat’s new show Papa By Chance

Redefining entertainment, Star Bharat steps a notch higher by roping in the flamboyant celebrity rapper, Raftaar. The channel has always garnered the attention of its viewers by keeping the audience engrossed and entertained with their clutter-breaking concepts and innovative ideas. Keeping the trend alive, the brand has now roped in Raftaar to rap for the first promo of its upcoming show, Papa By Chance.

After making people dance to his groovy tunes, Raftaar will now be setting the Indian television screen on fire, as he raps his way to introduce tinsel town’s newest heartthrob, ‘Yuvaan’ - a carefree Delhi boy from Star Bharat’s upcoming family entertainer, Papa by Chance. It is very rare that a channel has introduced a show’s protagonist with such quirk. The channel’s coolest discovery Zebby Singh is a high spirited lad and perfectly complements Yuvaan who believes in living in the moment and abides by the no-strings-attached mantra. The good-looking model Zebby marks his acting debut with Papa By Chance.

Excited about his new gig, Raftaar expresses, “This is my first collaboration for a fiction TV show and I’m glad to associate with Star Bharat as it has given me an opportunity to explore a new avenue. I thoroughly enjoyed recording the rap as the lyrics quirkily and aptly defines Yuvaan – the lead character of Papa By Chance. The tone of the rap is extremely catchy and I’m confident people will play it on repeat mode.”
