Red Chillies Announces Badla's Release Date

Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu starrer and Sujoy Ghosh directed Thriller, BADLA is all set to hit the big screens on March 8, 2019. 

The Film is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Sunir Kheterpal & Akshai Puri for Azure Entertainment. It is an adaptation of Spanish Feature Film, THE INVISIBLE GUEST, which, at USD 41 mn, is the highest grossing Spanish Feature Film in China.

The first schedule of the film began in Scotland in early June and majority of the film shooting was completed last week. This marks fourth collaboration of Sujoy Ghosh with Amitabh Bachchan and second film where Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee are working together after the much-acclaimed PINK.

Ritwik and Palak to re-unite in Dil Hi Toh Hai ?

Ekta Kapoor’s modern family drama Dil Hi Toh Hai aired on Sony Entertainment Television has already created a lot of buzz with its unexpected twists and turns. The show revolves around Rithwik (Karan Kundra) and Palak’s (Yogita Bihani) love story and their family drama.

In the recent storyline, we saw how Rohit and Setu broke up their engagement. While Rohit is striving hard to get Setu back in his life, we will see Rithwik and Palak will join hands.

Meanwhile, in the journey of bringing the two souls closer the audience will be surprised to see another twist. Rithwik has fallen in love with Palak. However, Rithwik is already engaged with his childhood friend Ananya and the date of marriage is nearing. Will he feel the urge to confess it to Palak? Is it too late for them to be together? Going beyond all the constraints, will Rithwik has confess his love for Palak?

The character of Rithwik in Dil Hi Toh Hai was a strong man who is not supposed to believe in love and relationships. But eventually, he tends to develop a soft corner for Palak.

Kriti Kharbanda: It was a dream come true shooting with Farah Khan for Housefull 4 song

It’s a double whammy of sorts for Kriti Kharbanda, who has recently completed shooting for a full-on energy song for her forthcoming successful franchise, Housefull 4 and that too choreographed by ace choreographer-filmmaker, Farah Khan.

“It was nothing less than a dream come true shooting with Farah Khan,” says Kriti excitedly, “She is always brimming with confidence and positivity. It’s a full-on-energy song that we just recently shot for and the experience of shooting the same was surreal. From taking orders from Farah ma’am to indulging into lot of masti on the set was such a fun and interesting experience.”

“Farah ma’am idea was to make the song look bigger, better and entertaining as compared to the other songs from the previous Housefull films. She doesn’t choreograph too many songs these days but the ones she works on turns out to be massive hits,” she adds.

Kriti is eagerly anticipating the release of yet another popular franchise that she’s part of – Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se! 

Visually impaired fan writes in braille asking Rekha to meet Anmol

RJ Anmol is admittedly a Rekha fanatic. He tells us, "Since I was a kid, I've been a huge fan of Rekha ji. After coming to Mumbai and becoming a RJ, I have always wnated to meet and interview her. By God's grace, I have interacted with all the legends - be it Asha Bhonsle or Dev Anand saab and even Sadhana ji who gave an interview to me, first time ever in 30 years. I have tried many times to connect with Rekha ji to talk to her. But like we all know, she's a little incommunicado and has those layers around her."

He has come up with a music video titled Khwab Ho Tum which is a modern day version of the song with the same name, from Dev Anand's Teen Deviyan.  Talking about the innovative way of requesting his favourite star to meet him, Anmol says, "There have been many times where we have been in the same room at an awards show. But what would I say and tell her to convince her? It had to be something so dynamic for my deewangi to come out in the best possible way. And that's the reason I created this music video Khwab Ho Tum. I thought the song says just what I wanted to tell Rekha ji and it's my journey in the video."

But little did he know that soon it will turn into a movement and something wonderful was already awaiting him. The RJ reveals, "I had been telling all my followers to come together and request her to meet me. That's when I created the hashtag #RekhaMeetAnmol. In this process, I got a lovely message on Facebook from someone who wanted to connect with me regarding this. Her name is Neelima Surve who works in Chetna College in Bandra. She's visually impaired and has been a fan of Rekha ji and has followed my voice for sometime. She has written a letter in braille, requesting Rekha ji to meet me. That really touched my heart because this kind of an emotion is something else."

He further adds, "She couldn't deliver so I told her I'll personally come, collect the letter and get it delivered. I went to meet her and we were both happy meeting each other. I got goosebumps when I got the letter written in braille. Along with that, there was also a translation done by her friend in Hindi and I was just blown away. Some people have also delivered flowers with notes to Rekha ji's house but I haven't still heard anything from their side."

Porus’ Actor Mohit Abrol’s new look as the King of Sindh

Sony Entertainment Television’s magnum opus show Porus is keeping the audiences glued to the screen with its unique and creative way of portraying the glorious history. The audience’s favorite character Hasti which is played by talented actor Mohit Abrol will soon be seen donning a new avatar as the king of Sindh. In the upcoming track the show will have a high point and the actor will be thronged as the King of Sindh. Mohit’s look is totally different from his previous look and it is very grand with the original look of the king with some antique jewelry. It will also portray a lot of splendor and extravagance which a king should possess.

Speaking about his look Mohit Abrol shares, “I feel really great about this look. The costume is in a way grand and capturing and looks very original as well. It will surely make an impact on the screen. I am sure the audiences will love this new look and will continue pouring their love as they have done right from the inception of the show.”

In the upcoming episodes of Porus, the viewers will see that the forces of India will gather, making India as one Akhand Bharat to fight against invading forces of Alexander.
