‘Anil Kapoor Has Grown As An Actor’: Salman Khan on Dus Ka Dum

Dus Ka Dum – Dumdaar Weekend is all set to rock the weekends starting 28th July on Sony Entertainment Television with an exciting celebrity line-up where they will play the game for a noble cause. The upcoming episode of the reality game show will see Bollywood beauties Farah Khan Kunder and Shilpa Shetty Kundra on Saturday and the ever charming Anil Kapoor and Pihu who will be seen promoting their upcoming film Fanney Khan.

Everyone knows that Anil Kapoor and Salman Khan have been great friends and go back a long way. Both the actors have worked together in many blockbuster movies like ‘No Entry’ and many more and when they get together on-screen, there is magic! Anil Kapoor is a legend and has been ruling the industry for a long time. Not only a proud father, he is also an amazing and a proficient actor and Salman Khan couldn’t stop gushing about it. The actor cum host spoke about his association with Anil and his personality that has been an eye-catcher for all.

Salman Khan commented, ‘Anil Kapoor is one of the most generous actors I’ve ever worked with. He has grown as an actor and as a human being. Anil and I have been friends since the start of our careers and I’ve always looked up to him for his acting skills and his contribution to this industry. He makes sure he is perfect on screen and also that the co- star is as comfortable as he/ she should be. He really respects the work he gets. Anil has decided till the time he keeps on working, it will be his best and I’m sure such an actor will never be out of work.’

Guru Purnima on Indian Idol 10

The next episode of Sony Entertainment Television’s Indian Idol 10 will see renowned singing maestros gracing the stage with the Top 14 contestants of the season. The season is overflowing with some of India’s best talent showcasing their singing charisma in front of esteemed judges – Vishal Dadlani, Neha Kakkar, and Anu Malik. The judges are not leaving any stone unturned when it comes to motivating the best talents along with giving them some important music and singing tips and the contestants are also not leaving any stone unturned to impress the judges. The talented Top 14 which have already inspired the contestants with their singing also celebrated Guru Purnima on the sets. 

Guru Purnima marks a day of remembering our life’s greatest teachers who we sought aspiration and inspiration from. The top 14 singing sensations of Indian Idol 10 celebrated Guru Purnima on the sets and presented a small token of respect to the talented trio of judges- Anu Malik, Vishal Dadlani and Neha Kakkar. The contestants honored the judges by giving them a small idol of ‘Saraswati Maa’. The judges went emotional and it was a heart-warming moment for everyone on the sets. After each performance, comments of Judges comes as a great learning experience for the contestants.

Nora Fatehi bags a role in Salman Khan’s Bharat

Nora Fatehi, star of the hottest and most popular music track currently, Dilbar, is definitely on an all time high. The Moroccan Canadian dancer, who set the screen on fire with her rendition of Sushmita Sen’s iconic song in Milap Zaveri’s Satyameva Jayate, starring John Abraham, has now added another feather to add to her cap.

The My Birthday Song actress has been signed on to star in Ali Abbas Zafar’s upcoming film, Bharat, starring Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra in the lead along with Disha Patani. An action film, as is traditional to any Ali Abbas Zafar and Salman Khan film, the film is said to be spanning a few decades and will see both Salman and PC don 5 different and unique looks.

 Nora, who will be starring in her second film after the Samir Soni directed flick, will be seen playing a Latino character in the film, which is said to be the Hindi remake of the 2014 South Korean film Ode to My Father.

Nora, who has showed her magical dance moves in several dance numbers across Bollywood and the South, is all set to wow us with her acting abilities in her first mainstream feature film. Speaking of her latest stint, she said, “Excited to be a part of project of this magnitude. It’s a dream come true ! The team is impeccable and the combination of Ali sir and Salman sir is the perfect combination. For me these were reasons good enough to willingly come on board. Looking forward to begin shooting soon.”

Jointly produced by Apurva and Alvira Agnihotri with Bhushan Kumar, Bharat is slated for an Eid 2019 release.

Red Chillies Announces Badla's Release Date

Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu starrer and Sujoy Ghosh directed Thriller, BADLA is all set to hit the big screens on March 8, 2019. 

The Film is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Sunir Kheterpal & Akshai Puri for Azure Entertainment. It is an adaptation of Spanish Feature Film, THE INVISIBLE GUEST, which, at USD 41 mn, is the highest grossing Spanish Feature Film in China.

The first schedule of the film began in Scotland in early June and majority of the film shooting was completed last week. This marks fourth collaboration of Sujoy Ghosh with Amitabh Bachchan and second film where Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee are working together after the much-acclaimed PINK.
