Gautam Rode Cheated By Ashvi developers; Actor Goes The Legal Way

Actor Gautam Rode has steered clear of controversies and is known to be an actor who is dedicated towards good work in our industry.  The actor recently though had to raise his voice when he was cheated of over 2 crores by a builder.  The actor had booked a flat in May 2016 in Ariisto Sommet, Goregaon hoping to receive it by Dec 2018 (as per the official confirmation on email) as promised by the builder, Mr. Atithi Narendra Patel. 

Revealing the whole story Gautam says, "I paid him a booking amount of 1.5 crore as asked by him and a monthly installment of 5 lakhs was set for every month, which I paid till March 2017. This can be confirmed by my bank statement.  I gave him a total amount of 2 crores 11 lakhs 95 thousand including tax to the government in the name of Ashvi developers, where Atithi Narendra Patel was the main director and owner of the company(Recently I came to know from one of the websites that he has resigned as a director of his the company). The construction of the building however stopped in October 2016 but I kept paying the instalments till March 2017, hoping for it to start as promised.

In this time I kept asking for the allotment letter without which I couldn’t register the flat. The first time I got anything besides a booking form from Ashvi Developers was a schedule sheet that was sent to me on email after 10 months of having booked the flat, dated 20th March 2017 in which random slab rates were written which were never discussed and were not part of our deal .. This can be testified by Nihar and sidarth (Common brokers- Pan Properties).

 The first time I got an allotment letter was in April 2017 , but it was dated wrongly and there was no mention of 55 lakhs that I paid to him in installments and again the slab rates  mentioned on this one were different from the ones sent on email earlier. I have a hard copy of it.

In April 2017 itself, after my repeated inquiries as to when the construction of the building will start, when I received no definite answer, I told the builder that I will not pay any more money till the construction of the building starts, to which he called the brokers Nihar and sidarth and told them that if I didn’t want to pay any further then they would cancel my booking and refund my money. This message was delivered to me by Nihar and Siddarth to which I readily agreed as I had lost faith in the builder. Sidarth (PAN properties) has already testified in EOW about the same .

I have saved several text messages and whatsapp messages that I received from Atithi narendra Patel and Dhrupad Jhaveri (Sales head of ashvi developers and he is Atithi Narendra Patel’s brother in law ) , in which Atithi narendra Patel has written that I am in his first list of payments and he has thanked me for understanding his situation and keeping patience.. and he will close the deal at the earliest. But he never kept his word.

After patiently waiting for more than a year when I did not get any positive reply about  either the construction of the building or on the return of my money I went to the Economic Offences Wing and  lodged an FIR against the builder. The construction of the building ( Aristo Sommet , Goregaon West) has still not started. I’ve suffered a lot, but I have full faith in the judicial system and am positive that I will get justice."

Special Dialogue Promos for Stree

Dinesh Vijan’s horror comedy, Stree, has created a huge wave of excitement amongst the audiences with its intriguing concept. The trailer of the film has titillated the audiences to want to watch the mystery behind Stree!

With so much excitement around the film, the makers have come up with a unique marketing idea. Instead of following up their hugely loved trailer with the usual dialogue promos, they have shot a bunch of wickedly funny promos that are separate from the content of the film.

This unique idea is to tickle the audience's curiosity with promos similar in theme and mood but at the same time not exposing more of the hilarious content from the film itself.

Dinesh Vijan shares, "The premise of Stree is so unusual and intriguing that we decided to take a different route and not reveal anything more from our film! Instead we conceptualised character  promos to give you a small peak into the lives of our characters and have a great blend of horror and comedy. The 5 promos will be released digitally as well as on television, and we hope that this innovation is well received by audiences!"

Raj Nidimoru shares, "A unique film warrants unique promotions. Stree is the kind of story that doesn't have a precedence. You can get a taste of it from the trailer. We didn't want to expose any more content from the film. So instead of creating more promos from the film, we thought we could do additional content with similar mood and theme.. to generate more curiosity."

Dinesh Vijan presents Stree, a Maddock Films production in association with D2r films and Jio Studios. The horror comedy has been directed by Amar Kaushik and is set to release on 31st August 2018..

GVK Invites Doraemon, Shin chan & Garfield to celebrate 72nd Independence Day

GVK invited popular animated characters Doreamon, Shin Chan & Garfield to celebrate India’s 72nd Independence Day at the ever-buzzing Mumbai International Airport. The day was celebrated with people participating in a 5.4 km“Walkathon” with a unique “Horn Not OK Please” messagehosted by GVK.

Doraemon shared the space with other dignitaries in flagging off the Walkathon. The participation was in good numbers with not only common people being a part of it but also members of the CISF responsible for Airport security and Mumbai Police.

Said Nitin Kalra, Director Animation International (India), which manages the licensing business for all three characters, “It was a proud moment for us to have been invited by the Mumbai International Airport to be part of the Independence Day celebrations. It was great to see how the Airport staff and their families enjoyed with our characters, as much as the common walkers did.

The idea of the “Walkathon” with the theme of “Horn not OK Please” is unique and we support such initiatives through our character programs from time to time and glad we were able to promote the message with a platform like Mumbai International Airport”.

As Doraemon joined to kick off the Walkathon, Shin Chan and Garfield were seen boosting spirits of participants as they waved off from open jeeps.

Post the event our characters were keenly involved in Meet & Greet with their fans and followers while Doaremon alongside other dignitaries gave away prizes to the top 3 winners. Overall it was a fun filled Independence Day

Taapsee on working with both Senior and Junior Bachchan

Taapsee Pannu who has been carving her niche in Bollywood for the past 5 years has finally arrived. After back to back phenomenal performances in Pink and Naam Shabana, the Ghazi Attack actress isn’t afraid of experimenting with her roles and has gone on to star in a complete comedy like Judwaa 2. This year, the talented actress will be seen in three drastically different films.

Soorma, the Sandeep Singh biopic, starring Diljit Dosanjh, saw Taapsee playing the role of a professional hockey player where as in Mulk she played a lawyer alongside Rishi Kapoor. The Baby actress is now gearing for the release of her next, Anurag Kashyap’s romantic drama, Manmarziyaan, which will see her opposite Abhishek Bachchan and Vicky Kaushal, playing the quintessential Punjabi kudi. This will be the first time Taapsee is acting with Junior Bachchan, who has worked on Pink with Senior Bachchan and will soon be seen sharing screen space with him in Sujoy Ghosh's Badla. We can’t help but wonder how different (or similar?) it is to act with two such dynamic men and thankfully, Taapsee is here to clear the air.

“Bachchan Sir and Abhishek have a very different approach to acting, although their mannerisms, posture, body language and baritone are quite similar,” the actress commented. “I still remember I had texted Sir once when I saw Abhishek sitting exactly like him, with the same posture. I just couldn’t help myself, it was that uncanny!” she joked.

Soundarya Sharma’s adorable way of spending time with children at Smile Foundation

The Ranchi dairies fame Soundarya Sharma spends amazing time with the children on 16th August 2018 at Smile Foundation. The actress was moved by the love and gratitude shown by the children at the foundation. The moments spent with the children playing helped her revive her childhood memories. Telling about her experience the diva said, “My experience was amazing and very heartwarming, the kids welcomed me with so much of warmth and love and it is one of the best feelings in the world when you feel loved by such amazing people”. She broke the ice by encouraging the kids to dance, sing songs followed by which they played musical chairs. Post playing games the actress was seen eating refreshments with the children.
