‘I have been lucky to be a part of KBC for almost all the years’: Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari

The first campaign directed by Nitesh Tiwari which showed a father’s struggle to give his child the education that he needs received rave reviews and following him was his wonderful wife, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari who directed the second promo. Ashwiny’s promo beautifully showcases the resilience of an aspiring woman who wants to become a pilot. Shirked by family and friends, she does not give up her hopes on achieving her ambition and reached the hot seat to further enable her moto.

When asked Ashwiny to share her experience while directing the promo she says, “I have been working on Kaun Banega Crorepati from the inception of the show years back. As a creative director in the agency we used to write and give a look and feel to the brand. The client and we together have been churning out ideas for the love of Kaun Banega Crorepati and Mr. Amitabh Bachchan.”

Ashwiny has been working hand-in-hand with her husband Nitesh Tiwari for all the campaigns of Kaun Banega Crorepati and considers every project associated with the show close to her.

When asked Ashwiny what does ‘Kab Tak Rokoge’ mean to her and if she has ever experienced a Kab Tak Rokoge moment in her life she adds, “No matter who you are, where you come from, you have the right to lead a life the way you want to and dream big. And yes, when I intended to make my first feature film and wanted to direct it, there were lots of restrained reactions from people who thought I was joking to myself and that I am not capable of direction. Lot many told me, ‘No one will trust you with an ad film, forget feature’. I had trust and my dearest ones to support me. That is my, ‘Kab Tak Rokoge’ moment.

“I don’t mind if Taimur and Roohi want to be together in future” – Karan Johar

Karan had an interesting take on why we shouldn’t call any two kids brother and sister, or two elderly people uncle and aunty, “When a guy and girl are together, they immediately ask us to call each other brother sister. If you meet any elderly person too, you have to call them aunty uncle. But they are definitely not”

“See, I have two kids, I want to tell you, so when someone comes, like when Taimur comes, so the nurses start saying to call Taimur brother. But why? Maybe 20 years later, Taimur wants to be with Roohi. Anything can happen 20 years later. Why are we blocking those routes right now?” exclaimed the multi talented Karan.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui along with the star cast of ‘Genius’ witnessed for promotions

The forthcoming action thriller flick, Genius: Dil Ki Ladaai Dimag Se, has already won million of hearts and stealing the limelight. Therefore, for the same, star cast of the film Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Utkarsh Sharma, Ishitha Chauhan and director Anil Sharma were witnessed interacting with the media in hotel Le Meridien, Delhi to promote their upcoming film. The film marks the debut of Utkarsh Sharma in a lead role, who was last seen in film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha (2001) as a child actor.

Sharing the experience, Nawazuddin said, “This is my first film with Anil sir and I really had a great experience. I wanted to work with him for long time and now I have got this opportunity”. He added, “I always wanted to do this type of film in my life. I have done villain role in some films but this time I am playing the role of villain in a different way. My character is very different from my recent films”.

Taking lead for the first time in film, Utkarsh said, “Working with Nawazuddin sir is like dream come true. I am his biggest fan and really enjoyed working with him. I am very excited for the film. My dad had guided me during the shoots and I have learned a lot from my dad and Nawazuddin sir”.

The film also features Mithun Chakraborty, Ayesha Jhulka and Ishitha Chauhan in prominent roles. Produced by Anil Sharma Production and Soham Rockstar Entertainment, the scheduled release date of the film is 24th August.

“I myself have started working out in open air and I keep posting videos on my social media accounts. So my fans know that I personally follow it. Any kind of workout has a lot of benefits. But working out in open spaces provides environmental stimulation and helps you connect with nature.

You are surrounded by birds, trees, greenery and sunlight - all of which will make you feel energetic. Also, it's great for those who don't get the time to hit the gym or can't afford it. All you need is a good pair of shoes.

There are 1,000 videos available, which can help you learn different types of workout. If nothing, then you can just take a walk in your vicinity, go for a jog or even take the stairs instead of lifts and escalators,” he adds.
