Punjabi Music’s Heartthrob Rob Badal dedicates his latest launch Masterpeice to diva Jacqueline Fernandes

Badal has launched another series of songs in a brand new, this time rife with romance as the leading theme titled ‘Masterpiece’.

When asked who was the inspiration or his muse behind his latest release he said “I am besotted by Jacqueline Fernandez, as she is the perfect mix of glamour and simplicity. If I have to name anyone who can truly be called a masterpiece according to me, it would be Jacqueline, hands down”

Masterpiece is a romantic, fun music video wherein Badal serenades the girl with a piano in an attempt to woo her, a pursuit many of us are familiar with.

Kanika Maheshwari To Travel To Chicago For Her Short Film Forever Whim

Television actress Kanika Maheshwari who rose to fame with her role in the hit show Diya Aur Baati Hum recently made her debut as a writer- producer with her short film Forever Whim. The movie revolving around a mother-daughter relationship after the former has been detected with cancer won an award at the Melbourne City Independent Film Awards & we hear now stands a nomination at the Chicago South Asian Film Festival to be held next week on the 20th of September.

Kanika with a career spanning over a decade & a variety of shows to her credit went on a brief sabbatical to embrace motherhood & she is making a comeback with her short film starring herself that has been sent to film festivals worldwide & will be released in India in the next couple of months.

An excited Kanika shares, 'I didn't see this coming. I'm ecstatic to get an official entry in the nominations. I just learnt that my movie has been lined up for the premier slot & will be screened at the  Oakbrook auditorium, which is a mean achievement for any film maker.'

'The festival manager, Jigar Shah sent across the flyer & I got so excited with my name alongside some bigwigs of short film makers, he also watched my film & sent me a message on how touched he was. All one aspiring film maker needs it acknowledgement & appreciation. They have extended the invite & I can't wait to touchdown Chicago &  to see the reaction of the audience in real time.'

Juhi Parmar Takes To Parent Blogging

Television actress Juhi Parmar is one of the few names in the television industry to bring up her daughter as a single parent & not shy away from talking about it.

The Kumkum actress is a mother to an adorable 5 year old daughter, Samiarra. Her social media posts are a proof that she's a hands on mother & juggling between her personal & professional lives just fine.

If her Instagram posts are anything to go by, Juhi spends quality time with her daughter & she is a doting mother who shares all the cutesy stuff on her feed opening her heart to her friends & fans.

'Hero' Karanvir Bohra Enters the Bigg Boss House

Actor Karanvir Bohra who has been a part of successful shows back to back including the original Kasuati Zindagi Ki, Saubhagyavati Bhava, Qubool Hai and the most recent Naagin 2, has finally decided to take on the Bigg Boss challenge this year.  The father of two beautiful and lovely twin daughters, Karanvir has earlier in interviews stated that he has been offered the show every year for the last 11 years!  The actor danced away to '"Tera Dhyaan Kidhar Hai Tera Hero Idhaar Hai" and well we must say Karanvir looks to be the 'hero' of the house.  Just before entering the house Karanvir told us, "We've had fasting as a part of our culture for a long time. And the reason fasting had really started was to test one's limits, be able to sustain without some of the basic necessities like food and water.  Over time the line between a need and a want has blurred and today our necessities are mobile phones, luxury and what not.  For me Bigg Boss is a fast, its an internal journey which will be testing my limits as well as helping me somewhere grow.  Its also quite a challenge to be away from my family, especially my daughters." 

The Bohra twins have become quite famous on social media as the little ones have a following which can beat many popular actors in the digital space.  A proud father, Karanvir has never shyed away from showing that he is a true family man.  It wasn't an easy decision for Karanvir to give a nod to Bigg Boss and of course that's because its difficult of our hands on father to be away from his little girls for so long.  Speaking about missing his twins' second birthday Karanvir reveals, "

Well I am an actor by profession and each profession has its pros and cons.  As an actor sometimes I shoot for a daily show 12 to 14 hours a day and come home by the time they've already gone off to sleep.  Being away from them for months is not going to be easy but I am sure someday as my daughter's grow up they will be proud of their father and the challenges he's taken on in his career." 

Well Karanvir sure is the biggest name of the house this season and we are looking forward to an entertaining couple of months with this one of a kind good-bad boy locked up inside!     

YRF’s Thugs of Hindostan to release worldwide on November 8th

YRF's forthcoming Diwali extravaganza Thugs of Hindostan will be the biggest release that Bollywood has ever seen. This mega-action film has achieved a casting coup in the history of Bollywood by bringing together two of the biggest icons of Hindi cinema Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan for the first time.

Today, YRF unveiled the logo of this action entertainer and announced the release date as November 8th, a national holiday.

Thugs of Hindostan also stars Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh. It has been directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and promises to deliver a never-seen-before cinematic experience on the big screen this Diwali
