Siddharth Kumar Tewary Replaces Shefali Sharma Chandragupta Maurya For Unprofessional Behavior



While many had been reporting that Shefali Sharma had been locked for Siddharth Kumar Tewary's ChandraGupta Maurya we hear that it is in fact Sneha Wagh who will be playing the new age mother in the show.

Our source close to the production informs us, "Shefali had been locked and was about to start shooting.  However, right before starting shoot she wanted to renegotiate on already agreed terms and put out unreasonable demands.  She tried to corner the production house being fully aware that the shoot was scheduled the next day.  The production house is known to be one of the best in the industry and they refused to tolerate Shefali's blackmail as they have no tolerance for unethical people and hence they replaced her."  

Sneha we hear was also short listed for the role and had met the production house earlier stepped in and has already started shooting for the role.  Chandragupta Maurya is another chapter which has marked the ending of the mega-series Porus, a finite show as planned and the key characters are continuing to play pivotal roles in Chandragupta Maurya.

Siddharth Kumar Tewary's RadhaKrishn to present a mega visual treat in Krishna- Kaaliya nag fight!



Siddharth Kumar Tewary's magnum opus mythological love -story RadhaKrishn has been appealing to audiences across all age groups with soaring TRPs.

The show being first of a kind love saga between the greatest Gods, has been raking in great numbers and in its debut week entered the Top TRP charts and became the channel leader. 

The show will now depict the tale of young Krishna's fight with the demon snake 'Kaaliya Naag'. A source close to the show shares, 'Weeks have been spent behind this shoot to create something as close to calendar art. As per the relics, the snake was huge & to create something life like has given the VFX team sleepless nights but the outcome has been beyond satisfactory. This will be one of a kind on Indian television & a movie-like experience.'

The makers of RadhaKrishn will narrate the story of Krishna's fight with Kaaliya Naag when the Gokul vaasis decide to move to Vrindavan from Banaras. The demon snake will ask Krishna to leave Vrindavan  whereas the former warns him about the wrath. Krishna climbs on the Naag & dances on his head before the fight while Radha is a witness. The demon Aghasur will eventually lose.

Shamita Shetty to play dancer in a short film



Shamita Shetty is all set to surprise the audience with her next offering, a short film based on dance. 

The actress, who is also known for her swift moves, is set to put her dancing shoes on for the short film. From tantalizing hits like Sharara Sharara to her alluring performances in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, she has always stunned viewers with her effortless and graceful dance moves.

Based on the journey and struggle of a dancer, the short film has got Shamita excited to take on the challenging role, something she hasn’t played before.

A source informs, “Prepping for the same, Shamita will be learning different kinds of street dance forms for her role. She has already started rehearsing for the same.”

Shamita informs, “I love dancing and it indeed fuels my passion as a creative individual. I loved the script and it would be quite exciting for me as it involves dancing.”

Besides the movie, Shamita will also feature in an international movie, The Tenant wherein she plays the lead role of Meera, an alluring cosmopolitan woman whose arrival in a middle-class housing society causes a stir. She will also be seen in the new season of the adventure reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi.

Bhoga Khirikee’s release is pushed to explore a wider audience: Producer Shahnaab Alam



The audience is eagerly waiting for the release of National award-winning filmmaker Jahnu Barua’s ‘Bhoga Khirikee’, especially after its screening as the Opening film of the Guwahati International Film Festival. The movie’s team issued a statement on their Facebook page announcing that the release date will be announced soon.

Reason behind the indefinite push was unknown until Shahnaab Alam, one of the Producers of the film, came on front to talk about it. “The primary reason to push ahead the release of the film is to explore a wider footprint for the film,” Shahnaab stated.

Shahnaab as a producer is quite sure that the film will be attracting the involvement of a major player to further add to their national and international distribution plans.

“Both Priyanka Chopra's Purple Pebble team and we in Easterly Entertainment believe that every film should realise its full potential, and especially a film as beautiful and sensitive as 'Bhoga Khirikee',” he further added.

‘Bhoga Khirikee’ (Broken Window) is one of those beautiful stories lurking in the corners of Assam that are worth telling. The film received a phenomenal response at the recent screening in Guwahati.

Happy about the way this film has been received by audience at the Guwahati International Film Festival, Shahnaab said, “We are more hopeful than ever with the wonderful way this film has finally shaped up. And the overwhelming response the film recieved after its screening as the Opening Film at the Festival has only increased our confidence.”

“When we take all the time to meticulously plan the making of the film, then it's only proper that we also give enough time, thought and space to plan the release of the film, so that it reaches out to its entire potential audience, not just in the country but even worldwide,” Shahnaab concluded.

Varun Dhawan to attend the screening of 'October' at IFFI 2018


The International Film Festival of India (IFFI) to start in Goa from November 20th. Like always, this year too various Indian and International film will be screened at the film festival.

Actor Varun Dhawan-starrer October will be showcased as part of the Panorama Section. The actor will fly down to Goa on November 23rd to attend it.

The actor is elated about this and says, "It was my dad who informed me that October was chosen to be part of the Panorama Section at IFFI. To be honest, since the time it released, I have had many people come up to me and tell me how it has touched them or how they couldn’t believe that a film like this was made in India. It’s great that it is being showcased with the best movies this year.”

The actor has received great appreciation for his performance in Soorjit Sircar directorial adds, "I am happy that today people can watch the film online. A lot of aspiring actors have told me that their teachers show them scenes from this movie. All this is really touching but I really didn’t do much acting (in October). Shoojitda just made me live the film.”
