Kapil Sharma is back with a bang and is all set to make weekends a laughter ride with The Kapil Sharma Show. The show will be loaded in terms of entertainment and fun as it has some of the best comic entertainers in India – Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Chandan Prabhakar, Bharti Singh amongst others who will be sharing the stage with Kapil.

On the first episode of the show, the cast of Simmba- Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan, Sonu Sood, along with their director Rohit Shetty graced the show with their presence. Rohit Shetty had been the judge of Comedy Circus where Kapil, Krushna, Sumona were competing. Almost after 10 years when Rohit witnessed both the talents unleash their rib-tickling chemistry on the show, he said that life has come a full circle for him and thanked and congratulated Sony Entertainment Television for getting such talented artists together again.  

The Simmba director got overwhelmed seeing Krushna Abhishek on the show and said “Kapil and Krushna are the two best faces on TV. There is no one better than them in terms of comic timing.”

The iconic romance saga from the 2000s stars Erica Fernandes and Parth Samthaan playing the roles of Prerna and Anurag as leads in the remake. This fresh duo steps into the shoes of Shweta Tiwari and Cezanne Khan who had created their own legacy in the original daily soap. While the show might be given a modern setting, we can be sure of the same nostalgia, the tragedy of unrequited love and the romance of ‘red dupattas’ blowing in the wind.

The trailer releases much ahead of its scheduled date due to the mass anticipation and adulation rising.

“When we used to practice Cricket at Shivaji Park, we would see the preparations of Balasaheb’s assembly and, also how excited people would be to hear his speeches. And also how excited people would be to hear his speeches!

Whenever I met him, and was leaving for a Cricket tournament, he would always tell me to glorify the country’s name and make India proud,” shares an emotional Tendulkar.

It was Balasaheb, who while writing for the Shiv Sena mouthpiece Saamana, urged the then-ruling Congress Party to confer the highest civilian honour upon the Master Blaster, “If you love Sachin so much, then why don't you give him the Bharat Ratna?” asked he.

Sachin Tendulkar had always shared a special bond with the Late Shiv Sena Supremo, both being passionate fans of Cricket, besides being the Pride of Maharashtra!
