Anil Kapoor apologizes to Sonam Kapoor on The Kapil Sharma Show

In the upcoming episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, Anil Kapoor along with his daughter Sonam Kapoor and Juhi Chawla, Rajkumar Rao will be gracing the show. During the shoot, Sonam Kapoor reveals that Anil Kapoor has never ever attended any of their parent-teacher meetings as he was always busy with his work. In fact, he has always been a late arriver to their birthday parties and was always in the costume of the film that he was shooting for as he used to come directly from the sets. Anil Kapoor apologies to her daughter on national television for not been able to be part of it. 

Kapil then jokingly asks that his last few and upcoming movie roles have been with either his nephew Arjun Kapoor (Mubarakan) or the upcoming ones with daughter Sonam Kapoor (Ek Ladki ko Dekha to aisa laga) or son Harshvardhan Kapoor (biopic of Abhinav Bindra), so is he promoting them or are they promoting him. Anil Kapoor quickly reacts and says that since the petrol prices are so high, so whenever he is leaving for a shoot, he feels that he should take 2-3 actors along with him.

Discovery pays tribute to the Armed Forces with Republic Day special line-up

Breaking Point: Indian Airforce Academy: 

The show offers a never seen before look into the training imparted at India’s premier Air Force training institution - Air Force Academy located at Dundigul, Hyderabad which is instrumental in shaping the future Air Warriors. Revealed- Siachen 

The Siachen glacier located in the Karakoram range in the Himalayas is the world’s highest and coldest battleground with army posts at over 21,000 feet. To stay atop on this 77 km long glacier at 5,400 meters altitude means the Indian soldiers have to defy all their physical, mental and emotional limits to safeguard the motherland. The special show will take viewers through the extreme frontline and what it takes to keep the Siachen glacier secure. It will present the remarkable chronicles of the soldiers and their formidable challenges to manage the battlefield where temperatures reach minus 60 degrees.

Varun Dhawan commence shoot for Bhushan Kumar and Remo D'Souza's Dance film in Punjab

The most anticipated film of the year, Bhushan Kumar and Remo D'Souza's yet to be titled dance musical which features Varun Dhawan as the lead will commence the seven day long schedule today in Punjab. The team which includes, Bhushan Kumar, Remo D'souza, Varun Dhawan and Lizelle D’souza, visited the Golden Temple yesterday on landing in Amritsar.

Bhushan Kumar shares, “We’ve got a lot of positive energy from the temple and are now geared up for the shoot. It’s an exciting project for our music label to be associated with, since being a dance film it has scope for a lot of songs. We have 12 in all and Sachin–Jigar’s album will be a mix of original, folk and recreated songs,”

Bhushan Kumar furthered added that they will be shooting for a Punjabi wedding song, followed by a few emotional sequences featuring Varun and his reel life family. After this, they will fly off to London for a 40-day schedule that begins on February 10.

The film opens on November 8. “I’ve known Varun’s father and his brother Rohit since a long time. I share a friendly equation with him as well. Varun has a great sense of script and music, he is involved in every aspect of filmmaking,” asserted Bhushan who is producing the film with Remo’s wife, Lizelle D’souza.

Bhushan confirms that the film is not part of any franchise and that they will reveal the title soon. “It’s a completely original concept which we are planning to spin into a franchise,” he stated.

Shraddha Kapoor who will be seen sharing the screen with Varun again is currently learning different dance forms with Remo’s team and will join the unit in London. Nora Fatehi also plays a pivotal role.

India’s biggest dance film is directed by Remo D’Souza produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Lizelle D’Souza starring Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor.

Valentines month is right round the corner, and we’ve got our eyes set on this rom- com! Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon’s next-“Luka Chuppi” looks just like what we have been waiting for.

After being adorable Sonu and lovable Bitti, Kartik ad Kriti are coming back as Mathura-nivasis Guddu and Rashmi. The poster much like its title does seem to be playing a little game of hide and seek and we aren’t sure what they have in store.

The trailer releases tomorrow i.e. 24th January and we are eagerly awaiting!

“I wanted to be an airforce pilot, destiny made me an actor”: Avinash Sachdev

&TV’s new fiction show in the romantic drama space, Main Bhi Ardhangini, an unusual love story, has made fans excited to see the leads Avinash Sachdev, Anjali Priya and Aditi Rawat in the show. Recently Avinash made an interesting and unique revelation – that he always wanted to be an air force pilot! During one’s childhood and growing up years right till college, one always aspires to pursue a certain profession that excites them. The lead of the show Avinash always wished to serve the country in the capacity of being an air force pilot. Infact, his father even wished for Avinash to be an IPS officer.

Avinash who has made his mark as a brilliant actor and has had a good run on television featuring in most of the popular shows, wanted to secure admission at the Army School in Nashik to train to be an air force pilot. However, the actor didn’t pass the Eye Test due to his low vision and having spectacles. Not losing hope, the actor looked ahead, vetted his options and chanced upon a career in modelling and acting.

During one of his voyages to Ladakh, he stopped by an Army canteen and saw pictures and messages written on small notes and stickers. The actor was so inspired to see them that he left a message there too. Avinash on his experience at the canteen shares that, “It really motivated me to write a small note besides the other notes and stickers that had messages written on them for the people who visited the canteen. I wrote a note to the nation that I hope I get to serve the country and armed forces in my next birth be it in the air, navy or army force. It gives me immense happiness to see young children pursue education to join the armed forces and secure our nation from all the external evils that cause harm. My trip to Ladakh and the stopover at the canteen was very liberating as it gave me a chance to make a promise to Mother India.”

vinash believes that while he didn’t get a chance to serve the nation, but destiny chose him to serve the audiences of the nation in a different through his profession as an actor. The actor is set to make a comeback on television after a year with &TV’s Main Bhi Ardhangini as Madhav. Avinash aka Madhav is seen to be madly in love with Chitra (Anjali Priya), his wife who is no more. It is difficult for Madhav to live without Chitra’s existence and seeing him surfer, his childhood friend Vaidehi (Aditi Rawat) comes to help him overcome his loss and be happy again. Seeing Vaidehi’s efforts to help Avinash get over Chitra’s death, Chitra’s spirit starts to help Vaidehi to fight against Nilambari (Madhav’s step-mother) who wants to harm her step son Madhav.

It will be interesting to witness this unusual love story of Madhav, Vaidehi and Chitra on television starting today!
