ONE OF ROCK’S BIGGEST BANDS PREPARES TOUR WITH NEW, INSTANT CLASSICS AND ENDURING ANTHEMS
Jon Bon Jovi accepts Billboard’s Legend of Live Award with a speech of inclusivity, implores artist to use voices to heal – “Success can be measured in many ways. It’s not just box-office scores and chart positions, it can also be measured by the impact it has on those you share it with.”
Bon Jovi’s This House Is Not For Sale is officially the #1 album in the US, Australia, and Japan and debuts in the Top 5 in 54 other countries on Island/UMG. After thirty-plus years at the top, their 14th studio album now arrives at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart with total consumption/album equivalents of 129,211 while iTunes charts place the release at #1 in 25 countries. The album is a triumphant statement of integrity from one of rock’s biggest bands and is available at iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, GooglePlay, Spo tify, Tidal, Target, among other retailers.

CAREER #1’s - This House Is Not For Sale (2016), What About Now (2013), The Circle (2009), Lost Highway (2007), New Jersey (1988), and Slippery When Wet (1986).
TOUR - In February, the This House Is Not For Sale Tour will be Bon Jovi’s first outing since 2013’s Because We Can World Tour. It was their 3rd tour in six years to be ranked as the #1 grossing tour in the world (accomplished by only The Rolling Stones previously). More dates to be added soon, check www.bonjovi.com for announcements.
MESSAGE OF HOPE - Last week, while accepting the Billboard Legend of Live Award for their touring impact, Jon Bon Jovi delivered a message of hope and empowerment in his speech:
“Music transcends borders and beliefs. We spent our lives traveling to places both near and far to deliver that message to the people who were spending their hard-earned money to hear us tell their stories. We always tried our best to never let them down.
Success can be measured in many ways. It’s not just box-office scores and chart positions, it can also be measured by the impact it has on those you share it with. We sing songs for those who are threatened by a wall. In fact, we sang songs to a Soviet Union when there was a wall. We now ask artists to sing their songs to the Muslim, and the disabled, for marriage equality and the LGTBQ community. To sing for the empowered, independent woman because equal rights are human rights.
We can all sing to the disenfranchised and the scared who need a bit of optimism. We sing because we can and because we in this room already know that music is a healer. We have the unique ability to deliver that hug, that handshake, that look into the eye of those we serve with our message of healing and we, this diverse music community, can be the ones to start that evolution. This is my hope, my prayer, this is our peaceful revolution.”

REVIEWS – Critics have applauded the new album, which Jon has stated is the result of “having something to say and nothing to prove” -
ASSOCIATED PRESS - "Bon Jovi is still making hit records: title track “This House Is Not for Sale” is as good a song as Jon Bon Jovi has ever written. As he grows older, he mixes a bold defiance (of age, injustice and negativity in general) with a more mature appreciation for love, life and hope."
BILLBOARD - “Bon Jovi opened his soul on record and in the live setting with a fascinating display of honesty and an inside look into what inspired the lyrics, music & story behind This House is Not for Sale.”
USA TODAY – “Nobody writes rock anthems like Jon Bon Jovi. It’s his superpower;” … “It says something about his skill set, 30-plus years into his career, that he was able to play a concert consisting of brand-new songs…and have audiences pumping their fists, clapping and hopping up and down as if he was doing a “greatest hits” show.”
ASBURY PARK PRESS - "So what is the future like for Bon Jovi? Judging by the songs, it’s forceful, righteous and rocking. “House” is prime arena rock and “Rollercoaster” positively bursts with energy. “Born Again Tomorrow” had a screaming solo from Xenidis. “New Year’s Day,” with a Bon Jovi tremolo on vocals, suggests later period Bowie and “The Devil’s in the Temple” is a punky fist pumper, thanks to Xenidis’ crunchy chords."
BBC MUSIC – “Jon Bon was on chatty form between songs, explaining the lyrics and sharing "his stories" with an audience of devoted fans.'”
EVENING STANDARD - "This House Is Not For Sale may prove to be the finest BonJovi album this century." "There were galloping verses and stadium-filling choruses to spare…"
KERRANG - "They still have that irresistible Bon Jovi charm, with choruses bigger than an Airbus."
THE GUARDIAN (UK) - “Stadium ready rock songs and chant friendly choruses”…“An intriguing new vulnerability”…“Labour Of Love is beautiful and sincere.”
DAILY MAIL (UK) - “Chest Beating Anthems”…"Bon Jovi’s vocals are gutsy.”
METRO (UK) - "It is the perfect reminder of why Bon Jovi have sold 130 million albums and packed out stadiums for three decades. And, as JB said in his last emotional monologue, they’ll continue to do so for another three."
GIGWISE (UK) – “The tracks from the album are stunning in their diversity”… “Rarely will you see such devotion at a rock group in a gig and it's thrilling to witness.” … “..reminds why Bon Jovi are considered one of the greatest live bands the world has ever known.”
