After making the
critically acclaimed film, ‘Main Aur Charles’ which was one of the top movies
on Netflix last year, Prawaal Raman has also completed the official remake of
the American Horror film ‘Oculus’ produced by Relativity B4U.
Prawaal's next film, a
sweeping biopic based on the life and struggles of Naela Quadri Baloch- The
much talked about freedom fighter from Balochistan is already under
pre-production!
A Global Film is written
and directed by Prawaal Raman, and is produced byPrawaal Raman and Shantanu
Yadav along with an international studio.
Interestingly,Inspector
General of Maharashtra Police,Brijesh Singh, the acclaimed author of the book
Quantam Siege is also co-writing a book on Naela Quadri along with director
Prawaal Raman.
For the uninitiated,
Naela Quadri Baloch is a Social and
Women's rights activist, writer, poet and gives lectures internationally on
Human rights.She is in exile from Baluchistan.Despite all the misery and
hardships she is passing through,she is still following Gandhian and Martin
Luthor king jr's footsteps to achieve her goals.
When quizzed on this
interesting project Producer Shantanu Yadav
said, “It’s an inspirational tale of the journey of an extraordinary
woman ...
And Prawaal adds “and a
rebellious film about peace and freedom”.
