PEP ASIA partners with
Rang De to help them the underprivileged and eradicate poverty in India.
Portrait & Event Photography (PEP) is a unique initiative by three
likeminded individuals from different walks of life- Joseph Radhik, Joshua
Karthik and Arjun Rajan, to elevate learning in photography. The event
scheduled between 21st-24th April in Mumbai is exceptional in more than one
ways, they also have various creative and interactive partnerships for this
event. One such partnership, that benefits none but the society is Rang De!
PEP will donate a portion
of the fees that each participant will pay for the conference towards
microcredit to low income entrepreneurs and students via their partnership with
the NGO, Rang De. Beyond PEP Asia, PEP has also committed to doing activities
through Rang De around the year, bringing the larger PEP community directly in
touch with the most underprivileged sections of society, and in turn, taking their
stories to the rest of the world.
The words 'rang de'
denotes color and exuberance and that is the impact they want their efforts to
have on the people they reach out to. Their vision is to make poverty history
in India by reaching out to underserved communities through microcredit. They
are striving to do this through a network of committed field partners and
social investors, by offering microcredit that has a positive impact on
business, education, health and environment of the communities we work with.
A good deed is a simple
and universal vision and the three visionaries behind this event aim at
spreading goodness not only to its participants but also to the society.
