Over the years, we have seen the Bollywood heroes stirring the lives of people in some or the other way. So much so that now the industry has made an impact on the global front. And interestingly, amid all the limelight, today the Bollywood stars have become an industry in themselves.
Bollywood movies are gathering humungous amounts at the box office, and with this, movie stars are minting money themselves. For celebrities like Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Shahrukh Khan and others, amounts like Rs 2-3 crore may be just like change in the wallet!

Akshay Kumar
The Khiladi of Bollywood, Akshay Kumar, has been heading the list of highest paid actors for quite sometime now. Kumar, who gradually took over the ‘Khan brigade’, has made a niche for himself in mindless comedies. This actor-cum-producer is said to charge a whopping Rs 15 crore per movie.
 Aamir Khan
The ‘perfectionist’ Aamir Khan is known for being selective about both his films amd brands he endorses. Khan is not only among the list of highest paid actors, but is also known for giving highest delivery rate. Aamir Khan, who is known for doing one movie every year, charges between Rs 13-14 crore per movie.
Shahrukh Khan
The ‘Bollywood badshah’ Shahrukh Khan is said to take home a humongous Rs 12 crore per movie. However, according to sources, after the disastrous Ra-One the actor was probably able to pay just Rs 5 crore compared to the Rs 10 crore of advance tax that he paid same period, last year.
Salman Khan
Salman Khan was in news a while back for signing Rs 7-crore deal for endorsing a food supplement. With films like Wanted, Dabangg and Ready, the ‘style bhai’ of Bollywood earned back his lost reputation of a hit actor. Salman Khan is said to charge Rs 8-10 crore a movie.
Hrithik Roshan
This green-eyed boy tasted success overnight, after the release of his debut movie Kaho Na Pyar Hai. The actor who has been under scanner of critics, has come a long way in his career. With stellar performances in movies like Dhoom 2, Jodha Akbar and Agneepath Roshan has proved it time and again that he is here to stay. The actor is said to be charging approximately Rs 10 crore for each movie.
Kareena Kapoor
Among the leading ladies, latest reports suggest that Kareena Kapoor is the highest paid actress in Bollywood. With many blockbusters to her credit, Bebo has turned out to be the most popular at the box office. The light-eyed actress, known for sharing equal screen space with her male co-stars, is said to be earning Rs 8 crore. Kapoor charges Rs 5 crore as a film fee and Rs 3 crore for endorsements.
Katrina Kaif
Katrina Kaif stands at the second position in the list of highest paid Bollywood actresses. Like Kareena Kapoor, this Chikni Chameli item girl is also said to be earning Rs 8 crore from movies and endorsements together. However, the Kapoor girl being more popular than Katrina, she has to be content with the second ranking.
Aishwarya Rai
The Bachchan bahu rani and internationally renowned actress Aishwarya Rai too is placed in the league of her other two Bollywood counterparts. The former Miss World, is also said to be earning Rs 8 crore (together from films and endorsements). However, this year, she has supposedly paid Rs 2.5 crore of income tax versus Rs 3 crore, same period, last year. Reports suggest that Rai earns Rs 4 crore from the brand endorsements and charges the same amount for each film project.
Priyanka Chopra
Another former Miss World, Priyanka Chopra has recently joined the league of the highest paid actresses of Bollywood. The dusky babe is said to be earning Rs 6 crore from movies and ads. Chopra charges Rs 3 crore each for per movie and the brand advertisements.
