YEH KDM KDM KYA HAI!

It’s wacky, its fun, its emotion, its Priyan... this is shortis the feeling behind Percept Pictures’ Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal (KDM).  Tucking into pakoras, dhoklas and some hot pavbhaji, the entire unit is working with great enthusiasm despite the heat on thesets, with all actors chilling out between in plastic chairs by the  magnificent church at Film City, with Nana’sinfectious  laughter cutting through theair, Paresh Rawal, Om Puri, Nana Patekar, Asrani, Shakti Kapoor, ShreyasTalpade, Neeraj Pathak enjoy moments with Shailendra Singh and Priyadarshanmaking the words, Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal  real in every sense.

Says Shailendra Singh of KDM, “the film brings together aleague of extraordinary gentlemen, extraordinary actors, who bring their ownflavour and add value to the script come together  in Percept Pictures’ Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal(KDM), directed by Priyadarshan. starring Paresh Rawal, Om Puri, Nana Patekar,Rajpal Yadav, Shreyas Talpade, Asrani and Shakti Kapoor among others and is setin real settings.”

Using the banks of a beautiful picturesque river in Wai, anda very interesting set complete with a beautiful set in Film City, KamaalDhamaal Malamaal is an exciting comedy with its emotional moments. Says PareshRawal, “when Priyan asks you to be part of his film, you simply say yes. Hissense of comedy is amazing.” Adds Om Puri, “it is not just that. There is anemotional undercurrent through his films that makes the films live forever.”

Nana Patekar is as excited to be part of KDM. “We hadplanned so many films, but it feels to good when one film happens. More thananything else, I love to act and leave the rest to my director. That is whathappens with Priyan,” enthuses Nana.

For Shreyas, it is a “double whammy. I am excited in workingwith Priyan Sir and Nana ji,” says Shreyas. “And when Shailendra Singh calledme and told me I was in KDM:” I couldn’t control my excitement.”
