Om Books International in association with Shiroreleased MaltiBhojwani’sDon’t Think of a BLUE BALLon 30thAugust, 2012 at Shiro, Mumbai. Renowned actor, ArshadWarsi, did thehonours amidst an august gathering of authors, film fraternity and the frontrunners of the society.
Don’tThink of a Blue Ball is as light or asdeep as you want it to be depending on how “plugged – in” you are when you readit. Plugging in is Malti’s way of describing how you establish your personalconnection to the Universe or your higher self so that you become empowered tolive the life you desire rather than one by default. The book is laced withThinking Pink exercises to help the reader create lasting change so that itisn’t just another self-help book the read.
Chief Guest Arshad Warsisaid: 'Malti Bhijwani has done a commendable book Dont Think of The Blue Ball.Such level of empathy for the reader is largely possible when one hasexperienced the highs and lows of life, but remained positive right through.Every chance life gives us is to be seized to use positively. And if we goover our own lives, we would all know that there is no Blue Ball that cannot bethrown aside if it comes in the way of our smile. Om Books International andMalti, great book and that's the way to go.'
Speakingat the launch, Malti Bhowani said, ‘I am so humbled and grateful to be standinghere in Shiro tonight, for I had dreamt of and visualized this exact momentsince I started out on the book.Today is testimony to what I have tried toshare in this book, that you too can do it now, live the life you dream, andnow.’She also shared how coincidences and synchronicity came into play in herown journey with this book, involving Jack Canfield the creator of ChickenSoup For the Soul.
Ajay Mago, Publisher, OmBooks International said: ‘Don’t Think of the Blue Ballis not a sermon. The author is on level ground with the reader because she constantly presentsherself as equally human as the reader, with similar issues to deal with inlife. What she personally brings to it is the way to convert negatives intopositives, and stumbling blocks into victory towers. She gently insists on usreaffirming the importance of smiling in life, and changing it.”
MandoviMenon ofThe Times of India online said: “I loved that she didn'thesitate to share deeply personal experiences, all of which further simplifythe message of the book while engaging the reader. In the end, this bookis more akin to a tete-a-tete with the coach herself as it feels as thoughshe's talking directly to you.”
