The Mindy Project is a new single-camera comedy from Emmy Award-nominated writer and producer Mindy Kaling. The show revolves around the life of Dr. Mindy Lahiri who, despite having a successful career, is unlucky in love and desperately needs to get her personal life back on track before her friends and colleagues are forced to stage an intervention. The series begins with Dr. Mindy Lahiri who is drunk and disorderly after an epic toast at her ex-boyfriend's wedding. This event comes as a rude awakening to her and she vows to make some drastic changes in her routine to get her personal and professional life back on track.
