Produced under the banner of ‘Nautanki
Films’ the serial Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek
Junoon has completed 400 episodes. To celebrate the occasion Nuatanki Films
brought in a big cake which was cut by Drashti Dhami, Vivian Dsena, Shama
Deshpande, Seema Mishra, Raza Murad, and others. After feeding cake to his
co-stars, Vivian later chose to smear the cake on the face and head of one of the
technicians.

Commented Vivian, “our producers are
cool dudes. It’s been a fun experience.” On being asked whether the show has so
much of Nautanki because production house has the same name, he quips, “what we
do is called acting and not nautanki.”
Launched in 2011, the show has since
then has completed 400 episodes and has received tremendous accolades and a
world wide huge fan following since it’s launch. The show has also received
numerous awards for its gripping story line and power packed performances by
lead actors Drashti Dhami & Vivian Dsena. This show set the benchmark for
Nautanki Films as a production house to be reckoned with.
Nautanki Films' other prime TV show
includes Do Dil Ek Jaan on Life OK. Cutting away from the regular saas -
bahu sagas, Nautanki Films has established itself as creative
production house churning out entertaining and relatable content. Nautanki
Films has also diversified into filmmaking with their maiden venture,
a political satire that went on floor in September 2013. Their film, Ekkees
Topon Ki Salaami features Divyendu Sharma (of Pyaar Ka Punchnama &
Chashme Baddoor fame), Manu Rishi (Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!) Aditi sharma
(Mausam & Ladies vs Ricky Bahl) and Rajesh Sharma (Special 26) & Neha
Dhupia in a special cameo for their first film. The movie is written by Rahil
Qazi and Directed by Ravindra Gautam of Madhubala fame.
