The campaign is titled ‘Mission: Home Fashion’ and as a first step in this journey, Portico New York launched a home make over contest. Bollywood Style diva Nargis Fakhri met one of the winners of the Home Makeover Contest, selected out of a nationwide online contest run by Portico New York.
To participate in the
contest, all one had to do was share a picture of their bedroom along with a
reason stating why their bedroom deserved a style makeover. Lucky winner
Nishaad was the first to be chosen out of the thousands of entries received.
Not only was her wish granted, but she was also presented with a huge surprise
by Bollywood beauty Nargis Fakri. A team of designers along with Nargis
provided Nishaad with a complete room makeover.
Nargis Fakhri seemed just
as excited for this project. She said
“I thoroughly enjoyed this whole process. It felt great to help Nishaad get
the room of her dreams! I’m glad I was able to play a small part in her
joy.”
Nishaad’s need for a bedroom
makeover was simple yet touching. Her statement was, ‘Ever since I was a small
girl I have wanted a bedroom that reflected my personal style. Of course my
taste has changed since then, but the desire for that perfect room has remained
constant. I have been on the lookout for a bedroom that could be my very
own haven. Portico New York is where I end my search.’
