Taarak Mehta team’s fun and masti at Hongkong

 

Asit Kumarr Modi’s successful hilarious comedy Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has achieved another milestone. This very popular and thoroughly enjoyed fun show is the first Indian daily show to take its story to Disneyland. “Taking the show to Disneyland was a planned move. We have family audience and everybody wonders about this place – how it is, what kind of rides are there, how much fun one can have, its visual delight and entertainment treat - all the while. So we decided to give them a clear experience through their favorite characters. We are showing everything in details. This storyline will last for some time so that the viewers can enjoy this place in detail,” says Asit Kumarr Modi. He adds, “Television has a better deeper reach and everyday audience gets carried into the life of their favorite characters. What they see in film is short term but what they are handed out on television remains longer. Taarak team in Disneyland in Hongkong will be the running track for more than 2 weeks. Later they will catch it again on reruns. Naturally they will be entertained better and they will connect better with the show as well as the place.”

Story starts when children of Gokuldham society take part in a competition and they win a trip to Disneyland in Hongkong. So naturally all of their families also accompany them and we get to see all characters like Bapu ji, Babita, Tappu Sena, Jethalal, Daya, Bhide, dr & Mrs Hathi, Sodhi & Roshan and even Asit  Kumarr Modi gallivanting and enjoying the rides in Disneyland. Jetha family even gets the honor of opening the gates at the gate opening ceremony in Disneyland. When Aiyyer is left behind in India by mistake Jetha is very happy. However, he gets bogged down with responsibility when Bhide hands over the well being of all members to him. Will society members enjoy their trip or as usual they will have goof ups and confusion even in Disneyland!!
