FICCI-IIFA CONCLAVE focuses of creation of BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES FOR CINEMA and ENTERTAINMENT

Established as the biggest celebration of cinema, every year the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) extends its focus beyond films and creates a platform for businesses opportunities and trade relations. Taking forward its tradition of the FICCI-IIFA Global Business Forum, the first ever edition of IIFA Utsavam will host the FICCI Media and Entertainment Business Conclave.
At IIFA Utsavam 2016, noted dignitaries from the government gracing the event will be Shri K Chandrasekhar Rao, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana, Mr K Taraka Rama Rao, Hon’ble Minister of Panchayat Raj & IT, Government of Telangana, Shri. Azmeera Chandulal, Hon'ble Minister ST Development, Tourism and Culture, Shri. Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Commercial Taxes, Cinematography, Shri T. Padma Rao Goud, Excise & Prohibition, Sports and Youth Services. They are being joined byP Ram Mohan Rao, President, Telangana State Film Chamber of Commerce, Smt. Sangita Reddy, Chairperson FICCI Telangana & AP State Council & JT MD Apollo Hospitals Limited and P Ram Mohan Rao, President, Telangana State Film Chamber of Commerce, B Venkestesham (IAS) - Secretary Tourism, Dil Raju – Noted Film Producer / Director n Film Tourism in Telangana
Also present will be eminent personalities from the film and entertainment space including  Dr Kamal Haasan, Chairman, Media and Entertainment Business Conclave, NagarjunaD. VenkateshAllu Arjun, along with Ramesh Sippy, co-chair, FICCI Media & Entertainment Committee, Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra, Chairman, FICCI Film Forum, D. Suresh Babu,Ramanaidu Studios, Resul Pookutty, Oscar Award-winning sound designer, and Shri G Rajendra Prasad, President, Movie Artist Association among a host of eminent personalities who will be present at the event.
The main session at the event is “Making Hyderabad a Hub of Media & Entertainment Industry”. This interesting panel will look at India and its immense potential in focus areas of the entertainment space and how our country can take a lead and emerge as an International entertainment hub. To make this happen, the panel would discuss the infrastructure requirements, talent (human capital), marketing, content initiatives as well as any policy facilitation to be taken across the Indian M & E landscape. It will also identify the challenges and try to provide solutions, which could take India in the right direction towards making it as a Hub of Entertainment Industry. 
Other sessions to take note are ‘Enabling the digital content and creative ecosystem in Telangana’Benefits of Film Tourism in Telangana followed by a valedictory session on Young Turks- Vivek Oberoi, Allu Sirish.
