Vivek Oberoi ​has adopted a village in Andhra Pradesh

Vivek Oberoi, to commemorate former minister Paritala Ravindra’s death anniversary ,

has adopted a village in Andhra Pradesh. (Muthavakuntlapalli of Kanaganipalli)
Vivek who shares a close relationship with Paritala’s family and has also played Partila Ravindra role in 2010 movie Rakht charitra described late Ravindra as a real hero who fought for the common people, pledges to also  bring e-education to the ZP High School located in the village.
Vivek has also installed a purified water from his own personal funds at Tallimadugu village located in the same gram panchayat. He also plans the construction of cc roads, drinking water facility, drainages and independent lavatories .
Vivek not only plans to visit the village often but also hold gram sabha meetings and make the village a model village in India .
Vivek quote :
I have always wanted to look after a village and make it a model village to change the way people view traditional village scenarios...there is so much development in the cities and metros today and I want to change that and look at reinventing an entirely new landscape.
