The third season of India Beach
Fashion Week, Asia’s largest resort wear fashion fiesta started off in style
with the showcasing of Neeta Lulla’s alluring collection. Staying true to the
ideology of IBFW, Neeta Lulla’s opening show was conducted at an off-beat
location of Museum of Goa. The artistic location, Museum of Goa added to the beauty
of the entire event. The designer’s collection was inspired by the Chinese
flowers and was very feminine, comfortable as well as classy.
The Deputy Chief Minister of Goa, Shri. Francis D’Souza
and the Minister of Tourism, Goa, Shri. Dilip Parulekar joined the host Dr.
Subodh Kerkar, the Director of Museum of Goa along with Mr. Pallav Ojha and Mr.
Amyn Manji, the co-founders of UVAR Global graced the event with their presence
and appreciated the exquisite collection of the designer. Wendell Rodricks also
supported the event with his presence and the show was choreographed by Lubna
Adams who is highly appreciated for her work.
Neeta Lulla’s collection encompassed the essence of the
alluring cherry blossoms, Osmanthus, flowy silhouettes, bead sequins and royal
embroidery on pastel hues. The theme was all about romance, feminine
sensuality, tenderness and the inner strength of today’s women. The collection
exuded the oriental royalty and was a treat to the eyes. The designs, prints,
color schemes, fabric and the silhouettes were in complete balance to appeal to
different sensibilities.
