The Indian festival of
Melbourne enters into its sixth year, this year making it bigger and larger.
This year the festival will welcome Rishi Kapoor as the special guest. The
sixth IFFM is centred around Women Empowerment where the ambassador of the film festival Vidya Balan will be seen
supporting the cause. The festival this year will run from 11th August
till the 20th
August. Along with being the guest of honour, Rishi Kapoor will also be
hoisting the Indian National flag in Melbourne on the occasion of Independence
Day. The 10 days
festival is going to be full of events, movie screenings, master classes etc.On
being asked Rishi Kapoor said that, "to represent one's country,that too
in a foreign land and unfurl the national flag is a pride like no other. I look
forward to being a part of the film festival this August in Melbourne "
